Arc Raiders is adding fresh content and challenges for players. These come in the form of projects – tasks spread across multiple pages – that reward players with unique and rare items upon completion.
Okay, so Rusted Bolts aren’t super rare in Arc Raiders, which is good news! If you know where to look, you can actually find a decent amount of them. I’ve put together a guide on the best places to farm them, so you can get what you need without too much hassle.
How to Get Rusted Bolts in Arc Raiders
Rusted Bolts can be recycled into 8 Metal Parts, or sold for 640 Coins. You can find them in most locations with mechanical or industrial themes, giving you plenty of places to search. While they appear on almost every map except Buried City, some areas offer a better chance of finding them.
When you’re preparing for a match, it’s best to start with a standard kit that includes either a Looting Mk 2 or Mk 3, thanks to the secure pockets they offer. While a free loadout is available, it lacks safe pockets, meaning any resources you gather – even 2 or 3 stacks of rusted bolts – will be lost if another player defeats you.
When you start the game, keep an eye out for certain drawers and boxes. If you appear near the Water Treatment Control area on Dam Battleground, go inside and search the red lockers. You might find several rusted bolts if you’re lucky!
You can find rusted bolts inside tool chests, often located in places like the Assembly Workshop in Stella Montis. These chests are typically yellow or white and have several drawers you can search. Keep an eye out for shipping containers with drawers on the side, as they also sometimes contain bolts. Because these containers are usually in industrial areas, you have a good chance of finding the bolts you need there.
To collect these items efficiently, start by searching the Hydroponic Dome Complex for tool chests and metal shelves. Next, check the red lockers at the Water Treatment Control. Finally, look through the containers in the Primary Facility before using a nearby elevator to leave the area safely.
