The Straw Hat Grand Fleet was created after the events at Dressrosa. Inspired by Luffy, fighters like Bartolomeo, Cavendish, Don Sai, and Hajrudin joined forces, forming a fleet dedicated to supporting him. They promised to help Luffy whenever he needs it, and to assist him in his journey to become the Pirate King. While they’ve pledged their support, the Straw Hat Grand Fleet hasn’t had a chance to prove itself yet and is still a relatively small and inexperienced group.
Now that the Final Saga has begun, Oda may introduce some strong allies to help Luffy fight Imu. Many fans are excited about the possibility of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet becoming much larger, with new members joining the crew.
Jewelry Bonney
- Current Affiliation: Straw Hat Pirates Ally
- Debut: Sabaody Archipelago Arc
Jewelry Bonney is a popular character in the final part of One Piece. She reappeared in the story after a long time during the Egghead Island arc. Since the events on Egghead involving Kuma, Bonney has been traveling alongside the Straw Hat Pirates, and she’s currently with them on their journey to Elbaf.
Many fans are wondering if Bonney will become an official member of the Straw Hat Pirates. However, it’s more probable that she’ll join the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, along with Kuma and Lilith. Bonney would significantly strengthen the Fleet thanks to her powerful Devil Fruit ability, which even allows her to use a form similar to Gear 5.
Dorry and Brogy
- Current Affiliation: Elbaf
- Debut: Little Garden Arc
Dorry and Brogy are famous giants who first appeared with the Straw Hat crew in Little Garden. They made a strong impression then, and many fans were surprised to see them play such a big role again in the Final Saga.
Dorry and Brogy rescued the crew on Egghead, but Imu has tragically turned them into demonic slaves. The Straw Hat Pirates must now fight to break this curse and free them. If they succeed, the Giant Pirates might become allies, joining Luffy’s fleet and becoming a powerful force in the final battle, potentially making them one of the strongest armies in the world.
Loki
- Current Affiliation: Elbaf
- Debut: Elbaf Arc
Loki, also known as the Accursed Prince of Elbaf, was first hinted at during the Whole Cake Island arc. He recently made his official appearance in Elbaf, and quickly established himself as a remarkably powerful fighter – arguably one of the strongest in the series. With his lineage as an Ancient Giant, his mastery of Ragnir, and a powerful Devil Fruit, Loki is a formidable presence and a key player as the story of One Piece heads toward its conclusion.
Currently, he’s the only character we’ve seen who can truly kill someone protected by a deal with Imu. Many fans are hoping Loki will become a member of the crew, but it’s also possible the author intends for him to instead join his brother, Hajurdin, in the Grand Fleet.
Momonosuke
- Current Affiliation: Wano Country
- Debut: Punk Hazard Arc
I’ve watched Momonosuke’s journey alongside the Straw Hats for a long time, ever since the Punk Hazard arc. He wasn’t always popular with fans, and it’s fair to say a lot of people didn’t really like him at first. But things really changed during the Wano arc. His actions there were so important that it completely shifted how people viewed him, and he won a lot of fans over.
Momonosuke is rapidly getting stronger, particularly after Shinobu accelerated his aging. Because he now possesses the same abilities as Kaido, he’s a valuable asset. If he masters Haki, he could become a crucial ally in the upcoming final battle and potentially lead Wano’s forces to help Luffy.
Red Scabbards
- Current Affiliation: Wano Country
- First Met: Various One Piece Arcs
If Momonosuke becomes a member of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, his loyal protectors, the Red Scabbards, will join too. The Red Scabbards and the Straw Hat Pirates have been allies since they first met at Punk Hazard, when Luffy helped Kin’emon.
The Red Scabbards are deeply indebted to the Straw Hats and will undoubtedly stand with them as allies in the climactic battle when Luffy needs their help the most.
Yamato
- Current Affiliation: Wano Country
- First Met: Wano Arc
Honestly, Yamato was such a fantastic surprise during the Wano Arc! When they were first introduced as Kaido’s child, a lot of us thought they’d be another villain. But getting to see them during the Onigashima Raid, and discovering they were actually a huge help to Luffy and the others, was amazing. I was so glad they ended up being an ally!
Yamato dreams of following in Oden’s footsteps and embarking on a seafaring adventure. While they initially hoped to join the Straw Hat Pirates, that didn’t work out. Now that Momonosuke is getting stronger, Yamato is preparing to leave Wano and start their own journey. In fact, Oda has hinted at Yamato forming a new crew, and they’ve already gained two members: Ulti and Page One. This new crew could play a significant role in the upcoming final battle, as Yamato is a powerful fighter with mastery of Conqueror’s Haki.
Charlotte Katakuri
- Current Affiliation: Big Mom Pirates
- First Met: Whole Cake Island Arc
Charlotte Katakuri is a very popular villain from the One Piece series, playing a key role in the Whole Cake Island arc. Though initially an enemy of Luffy, the two have a unique connection and fans expect them to team up as allies in the future.
Honestly, I think Katakuri’s strength right now just isn’t quite where it needs to be for the big finale of the story. But that’s what’s so exciting – he’s got tons of potential! And considering he’s likely next in line to lead the Big Mom Pirates, I could totally see him switching sides and helping Luffy in the final battle. Imagine him joining the Straw Hat Fleet – that would be amazing!
Boa Hancock
- Current Affiliation: Kuja Pirates
- First Met: Amazon Lily Arc
Boa Hancock is incredibly strong in the world of One Piece, thanks to her Devil Fruit power and impressive Haki. Initially introduced as an opponent, she later became a key ally to Luffy.
Recently in the One Piece manga, we saw Amazon Lily, and it’s become obvious that Boa Hancock intends to leave the island to find Luffy. Her main goal is to support him in upcoming fights. While she won’t become a Straw Hat Pirate herself, she plans to have her crew, the Kuja, come under the protection of Yonko Luffy. The Kuja are skilled Haki users, and Hancock is an incredibly powerful fighter with Conqueror’s Haki, making them a great addition to the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.
