With no combat training whatsoever, Isaac encounters extreme adversity when he initially confronts the necromorphs on the Ishimura. Relying mainly on an arsenal of powerful engineering tools and his tenacity to live, he manages to push through.

As the franchise expanded and became increasingly complex, Isaac’s chances of survival progressively weakened as the governments of this dystopian world secretly plotted against him. Isaac found himself battling terrifying creatures, fanatical cult members, and madness, all while striving for mere existence and a return to normality. His victories in this regard are inconsistent, but it’s clear that Isaac overcame tremendous obstacles throughout the games.

As a die-hard gamer, I can’t help but marvel at the resilience of characters who stand against the apocalypse. However, among these valiant figures, there are only a select few who have vowed retribution not just against one deity, but against all the gods themselves. And here I am, in awe of Kratos, the Spartan warrior who didn’t back down until he had torn and shredded his way through every obstacle that came his way. Somehow, against all odds, Kratos persevered and survived, a testament to the indomitable spirit of gaming heroes everywhere.
