Having played this masterpiece on consoles back in the day, it’s been a dream to experience its stunning detail and immersive gameplay on a PC setup that matches my rig.

After it was announced that Red Dead Redemption is now playable on Steam, let me share the necessary PC specifications for you.

MINIMUM:

To run this software, it necessitates a 64-bit processor and a 64-bit operating system. The recommended OS is Windows 10 64-Bit. For the processor, either an Intel® Core™ i5-4670 or AMD FX-9590 will do. You’ll need at least 8 GB of RAM. As for graphics, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R7 360 is required. DirectX version 12 compatibility is essential. The software requires a minimum of 12 GB of free storage space, and a Direct X compatible sound card is also needed.

Rockstar Games announced that for the first time ever, the epic journey of John Marston from the game will be playable on PC, offering a fresh and detailed experience. Both Red Dead Redemption and its famous undead-themed side story, Undead Nightmare, are set to release for PC on October 29.

At this point, it’s uncertain what lies ahead for the Red Dead Redemption Series, as there are whispers suggesting a third installment is being developed by Rockstar.
