How to Use Emotes in Diablo 4

To use the emote wheel in Diablo 4, press either ‘Up‘ on the d-pad of your controller or ‘E‘ on the keyboard to access the wheel. From there, you can sort through three separate tabs of the wheel, with each holding eight total emotes. There are some you cannot swap out, however. For example, you’ll want to ensure you have Zoom, Leave Dungeon, Invite to Party, and Invite to Trade readily available on the wheel’s first tab so they’re easily accessible.

To personalize the emotes at your disposal, simply click on the wheel located on the right-side of your screen and choose “Customize” from the options that appear below it. This action will open a new interface showing all your available emotes in a scrolling menu. You can then select your preferred ones to add to the wheel.

How to Unlock New Emotes in Diablo 4

Emotes in the battle pass are unique, sometimes tailored to specific classes, and become accessible once you reach a certain level. However, many of these will only be available upon purchasing the premium pass, which requires real-world money for activation.
