A Brewing Storm Aburrey Quarry Quest In Arknights Endfield

Okay, so I’m playing Arknights: Endfield, and early on you hit Aburrey Quarry. It’s kinda sad, actually – everyone’s talking about how the place is falling apart and all the problems it’s got. There’s a bunch of stuff to do there, and one quest I had to tackle was “A Brewing Storm” at Aburrey Quarry. Here’s what I figured out about starting and finishing it.

A Brewing Storm Aburrey Quarry Quest In Arknights Endfield

To start the “A Brewing Storm” quest in Arknights: Endfield, head to Aburrey Quarry and locate the elevator just north of the Stockpile Area.

Take the elevator upstairs, and you’ll find Thurston. Talking to him will start a new quest called “A Brewing Storm: Aburrey Quarry,” which will then appear in your quest list.

First, turn off the electric fence. You can do this by pressing the switch located below. Just follow the orange cable to find it.

Keep going, and you’ll soon encounter another laser barrier. This one is different though – the device creating it is hidden inside. To turn off the electric fence, throw an explosive that you crafted at your Endfield factory.

You can craft Industrial Explosives by combining 5 Amethyst Parts and 1 Aketine Powder using the Packaging Unit – the same machine you use to make Batteries.

First, find one Aketine plant and use a plant-loop to grow more. Then, process the Aketine in the Shredder to get Aketine Powder. Meanwhile, send Amethyst Ore to the Refining and Fitting Unit to create Amethyst Parts. Finally, combine these parts on a Belt within the Packaging Unit to make Explosives, which can be used to damage enemies or break objects.

Behind the fence, there will be a floating crate you can move to make your way up.

Interact with the Terminal to repair it.

Use the image as a guide to fix the facility, then check the Terminal for details about the repair.

Now, pick up some extra clues in the area. One is right down the ladder.

The other one is down another set of stairs.

Once you’ve gathered the clues, continue following the orange cable. It will lead you to the device that powers the electric fence. Strike it to turn the fence off.

To finish the “A Brewing Storm: Aburrey Quarry” quest in Arknights: Endfield, talk to Thurston and discuss the clues to understand what occurred. As a reward, you’ll receive an Investigation Clue and other items.
