NYT Connections Hints Today (#967)—Clues and Answers for Monday, February 2

Happy Monday! A new week is here, and so is a new NYT Connections puzzle. If you’re a fan – and I know you are – you might want some hints to kickstart your day. I’ve got the answers and solutions outlined below, just for you!

Read on to quickly resolve today’s NYT Connections puzzle.

What is NYT Connections?

I should probably give you some background information before diving into today’s NYT Connections hints and clues.

NYT Connections launched in June 2023 as the newest addition to the New York Times’ collection of games. It quickly became popular, and for good reason! This free game is easy to access for anyone around the world, whether they’re using a computer or the mobile app.

NYT Connections is a great way to pass the time, like when you’re commuting or waiting for your coffee.

But how do you play NYT Connections?

It’s relatively simple, and that’s why it’s the best New York Times game, in my opinion.

Each day, the New York Times Connections game gives you a grid with 16 words. Your goal is to sort those words into four groups of four, based on what they have in common. There’s only one correct solution to each puzzle, and some words can be misleading, making it a bit challenging to solve.

The words are also color-coded to show how challenging they are: yellow is the easiest, followed by blue, then green, and finally purple, which is the most difficult.

Okay, so here’s the thing – you only get four tries with NYT Connections each day. Once you’ve used those four guesses, that’s it! You won’t be able to play anymore, it’s basically game over. You really need to think carefully about each one!
