First Chamber:

Step into the room after passing through the initial door, where you’ll find magma-stone floors and a pair of Fire Keese. Swordfighter Form easily handles these nuisance critters, or use any combat ability from your echo. The magma stones may burn Zelda, similar to outside the dungeon. You have three exits from this room, but one door will be locked. Feel free to choose either exit first.

Northern Chamber:

As you make your way into the northern room, you’ll come across a pair of ominous Dark Zirro foes. Switch to Swordfighter Form and use your bow to eliminate them. Subsequently, head towards the northeastern corner of the room and smash the two fragile blocks. Underneath, you’ll uncover the first Treasure Chest in this temple, which is partially buried. To retrieve it, apply the Bind ability. Inside, you’ll discover eight Twisted Pumpkins. This concludes your exploration of the northern chamber.

Locked Chamber:

Stepping into the locked room, it seems like it’s overflowing with molten lava. But after a brief pause, you notice the lava ebbing and flowing. At its lowest point, a Treasure Chest appears in the southwest corner, buried beneath the ground. You can pull it out using the Bind ability, revealing a Golden Egg inside. Defeat the two Tweelus creatures, then use Bind again to dislodge a Lava Rock from the western ledge within the room. There, you’ll find a button that opens the exit in the northeastern corner. This is your way out of the first floor.

Eldin Temple Walkthrough Second Floor (2F) – Echoes of Wisdom

Side-Scrolling Chamber (Eldin Temple Dungeon Map):

In this game scenario, Link will launch explosives aiming at Zelda, but since he’s initially too high up, she won’t get hurt. Your primary objective is to clear a path towards the climbing wall by detonating fragile blocks using Link’s bombs. If you possess the Frog Ring from Echoes of Wisdom, you can leap onto those blocks and make a beeline for the wall directly.

At the peak, you may activate the Swordfighter Technique to strike with either the Mighty Sword or Bow. Additionally, you can call upon a potent Phantom ally for assistance. To remove any obstacles in your path, consider using bombs or Bombfish. Once the blocks are cleared, proceed using the nearby ladder.

At the peak of the ladder lies a spacious chamber with a solitary Tweelus, alongside numerous fragile crates. By dismantling the crates in the northwest corner, you’ll uncover a Treasure Chest holding a Silver Rupee (100). To find the exit, shatter the crates in the northeastern corner.

In the final northeastern room, you’ll find a battle-only chamber housing the Fire Wizzrobe. This area calls for the Bow of Might, but if you need extra assistance, summon aid from flying entities such as Guay or Crow. Descend to the foot of the chamber, where you’ll encounter a towering climbing structure. At its summit lies a substantial chest holding the coveted Big Key. Proceed with caution as retrieving the key will set off the lava to start rising. Be prepared to swiftly ascend when that happens. Wearing the Climbing Aid of Echoes of Wisdom could prove advantageous in this situation.

As you near the conclusion, keep an eye out – the last rung of the ladder will disintegrate. Swiftly call upon a swift Echo for flight and soar from the platform towards the climbing surface to your left. In doing this promptly, you’ll be able to grab hold of the wall and find your escape.

Path to the Final Door:

After returning to the primary room on the third level, make your way towards the last lock located in the northwest corner. You have two options: clear a path by breaking the obstacles blocking the ladder’s ascent, or utilize an Echo to gain access to the small chamber above and subsequently reach the lock.

Reaching the last, largely lava-covered chamber can be challenging, but there are air vents that make progress easier thanks to the agile creatures known as Ghirro. To begin, utilize a Ghirro from the initial platform to reach halfway. Next, use a Lava Rock on the lava geyser to ascend to a higher level. Lastly, employ another Ghirro to navigate to the final door and Fast-Travel waypoint.

Ensure you are well-prepared for the upcoming showdown with the final boss. Having a means to replenish your energy is crucial in this battle, as the Bow of Might and Bombs work best against it. A while later, it re-emerges from various spots. It’s crucial for Zelda to strike at the glowing green orb that Volvagia carries on its neck when this happens.

As a gamer, I’d approach the dragon cautiously, then press ZL to instinctively zero in on the glowing green orb. Since Volvagia doesn’t offer any other targeting spots, it can be tricky, but the lock-on system should manage just fine.

Volvagia possesses two primary strategies to counter any attack attempts, the initial one being a massive, electrically charged ball of green hue. Typically, this is Volvagia’s preferred method of attack, quickly unleashed moments after it emerges by raising its head.

Another way to phrase this could be: The second form of attack involves Volvagia launching a burst of flaming projectiles as it rotates its head, generating a whirl of fire.

Alternatively, should you have an abundant supply of healing resources, standing still and taking the blows could be an option. Be wary, however, as Volvagia also unleashes a prolonged straight-line fire blast that can inflict substantial harm. Fortunately, this attack is relatively brief, so dodging it once should typically suffice to avoid excessive damage.

As a devoted Zelda enthusiast, I can suggest utilizing “Zelda’s Bed” during the heated battle when Volvagia is circling the arena. It offers a brief respite, but it could be just what you need to regain strength and continue the fight!

In each attack phase, aim to shatter the green sphere. Shattering the sphere multiple times before Volvagia submerges will cause it to break, causing the dragon to lean over weakly. This moment of weakness makes Volvagia susceptible to all attacks. If you have a Lynel, Darknut Lv 3, or any other powerful Echoes, keep them ready for this specific situation.

Phase 2:

During the second stage, Volvagia introduces just one additional attack, which appears to be specific to certain areas. At particular instances, Volvagia spits a trail of fiery liquid that forms a big circular puddle, inflicting area-of-effect damage if Zelda is caught within it.
