As a seasoned gamer with decades of tabletop RPG and turn-based strategy games under my belt, the announcement of The Adventurers by Eternal Vigilance Entertainment has me absolutely thrilled! With its high-fantasy world inspired by classic games like Dungeons & Dragons, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia that’s tinged with anticipation.
On November 11th, Eternal Vigilance Entertainment will make available their role-playing game with a turn-based system, titled “The Adventurers”, through Steam’s Early Access program.
The developer announces that you can delve into an immersive, fantasy realm reminiscent of traditional tabletop games such as Dungeons & Dragons, along with mentioning that the initial demonstration version of the game is currently available, prior to Steam Next Fest.

In this grand fantasy setting for The Adventurers, you’ll delve into an expansive world filled with adventure, where you’ll gather fresh allies, each boasting unique roles and abilities. You’ll protect villages, engage in combat against legendary beasts, and build your reputation amidst a realm brimming with possibilities and perils.
When your team requires a reorganization, set up camp in the wilderness and delegate tasks among party members such as guard duty, preparing meals, and mending gear. Procure supplies from nearby merchants (often after you’ve successfully protected them from attackers), take on crafting assignments, and fulfill requests during downtime between combat encounters in The Adventurers. When it’s time for the next battle, employ destructive abilities, enchanted artifacts, and heroic deeds to endure in this strategic, turn-based RPG.
