In Disney Dreamlight Valley, the Lion King Realm is said to have been opened before if Simba and Nala were invited by the Dreamers. If it hasn’t, you’ll need to gather some Dreamlight and visit the castle where Merlin can help you unlock the Lion King Realm.
How To Unlock Timon And Pumbaa In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Chat with Simba to initiate the ‘Finding Old Friends’ mission, which sets off a series of three quests that ultimately lead to the friendship with Timon and Pumbaa. He voices his concerns about his pals Timon and Pumbaa and requests assistance in returning to the Lion King Domain. Remember, if Simba isn’t present in the valley, you must initially unlock the Lion King Realm, bring him to Dreamlight Valley, and forge a friendship with him before the quest can be triggered.
After coming back to the Lion King’s domain, a cutscene unfolds showing where Timon and Pumbaa are hiding. Approach them and explain that you’re a buddy of Simba’s and would like them to join you at the village. However, they decline and suggest completing some Hakuna Matata lessons before considering the move. To progress, gather materials to construct a crafting station, then utilize it to make a Mane. The resources needed can be easily found within the Lion King Realm.

Afterward, I’ll don the Mane and tune in to Timon and Pumbaa’s chat. To ease the players’ tension, this dynamic duo has a strategy. First, tread along the wooden plank and make your way towards the river to retrieve a crown. Second, whip up an Empty Vial utilizing some Glass at the crafting station. If you don’t have Glass yet, no worries! You can create it by merging Sand and Coal Ore together.
After setting the crown atop the stone, shatter it with the pickaxe, afterwards join Timon and Pumbaa towards the river. Let out your dreads into an empty vial before tossing it in the water. Make your way back to camp next. Retrieve the Shovel and dig into the beds using it, then call it a night.
Relax! Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Upon waking up, initiate the “Relax!” mission by conversing with Pumbaa. The philosophy of his famous phrase “Hakuna Matata” centers on tranquility, thus necessitating the gathering of necessary items to construct a hammock for relaxation purposes.
- Collect Jungle Vines x6: Use the Shovel on the vines implanted in the ground. There are three in total and each one gives two.
- Palm Tree Sap x2: Next to the camp there are two trees with yellow stuff on them.
Hang the hammock for Pumbaa, letting him decide where to put it. After giving it a test, he suggests you check out three distinct resting places adorned with lush greenery and leaves: a perfect spot for a nap.

Head back to Pumbaa’s place for some well-deserved rest in your preferred napping spot. Once you awaken, it’s playtime! Use the Watering Can to moisturize three parched mud patches situated near the camp for a fun-filled play session. Later on, revisit your relaxation spots again and gather the floating fireflies (three of them) to prepare the Roasted Jungle Fireflies dish following the recipe in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Where’s Pumbaa? Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Upon awakening, you’ll find Timon in a state of panic because Pumbaa is nowhere to be found. The two of them then embark on a search for Pumbaa. Your initial destination is the Oasis at the start of the realm, where you discover Pumbaa trapped inside a log tree. After capturing a snapshot of him, Timon approaches you and asks you to find bugs so he can prepare an oil mixture using those bugs.
