Blizzard recently released a new cosmetic bundle for World of Warcraft called the Anubisath Guardian Pack, which includes bonus in-game currency. However, players are upset about the timing, as there’s already a lot to spend money on during the current Trading Post anniversary event. Many fans feel the bundle is taking advantage of the situation.
The Trading Post is an in-game shop that offers different items each month, which players can buy using a special currency called Trader’s Tender. You mainly earn Trader’s Tender by having an active subscription, finishing monthly goals in the Traveler’s Log, buying expansions for World of Warcraft in advance, or through occasional bundles available in the cash shop.
WoW Trader’s Tender Bundle for Trading Post Anniversary Month
World of Warcraft has just launched a new cosmetic set called the Anubisath Guardian Pack, and it comes with a good amount of Trader’s Tender. This Transmog bundle includes:
- Ensemble: South Guard’s Copper Raiment (Transmog Set)
- South Guard’s Copper Facemask
- South Guard’s Copper Mantle
- South Guard’s Copper Cuirass
- South Guard’s Copper Cinch
- South Guard’s Copper Greaves
- South Guard’s Copper Chausses
- South Guard’s Copper Boots
- South Guard’s Copper Gauntlets
- South Guard’s Copper Handwraps
- South Guard’s Copper Cloak
- Anubisath’s Sunscorched Blade (One-Handed Sword Transmog)
- Anubisath’s Sunscorched Greatblade (Two-Handed Sword Transmog)
- 700 Trader’s Tender
As a longtime fan, I’ve seen Blizzard offer Trader’s Tender in bundles before. They’ve had packs with 200, 500, and 600 Tender in them over the years. But this new Anubisath Guardian Pack is different! It comes with a massive 700 Tender, which is the most they’ve ever offered in a cash shop bundle. That’s not counting the Tender you could get by pre-ordering World of Warcraft: Midnight or The War Within, of course.
Image via Blizzard This bundle is launching at a great time, coinciding with a special event at the World of Warcraft Trading Post. To mark the Trading Post’s three-year anniversary, a temporary store has opened, bringing back over 200 popular items, including rewards from throughout 2024. With so many items available for purchase, the new Anubisath Guardian Pack is particularly appealing, which has unfortunately upset many fans online – including prominent voices like Vampsob and Basement Ogre on Twitter.
It looks like Blizzard is trying something new with World of Warcraft by offering these types of limited-time deals. While it’s been a while since they last sold a Trader’s Tender pack directly, the previous one – the Enchanted Sweeper Bundle – appeared around the same time last year, when the Trading Post first launched in February 2025. If players keep purchasing these packs, it’s likely Blizzard will continue to offer them in the future.
Is World of Warcraft’s Anubisath Guardian Pack Worth $25?

So, this month’s Anubisath Guardian Pack basically gives you red and copper versions of the South Guard’s Golden Raiment, the Anubisath’s Golden Greatblade, and the Anubisath’s Golden Blade – all stuff you can get from the Trading Post. It’ll cost you 1,030 Trader’s Tender to get the whole pack. I’ve been looking at the prices, and it’s roughly worth 1,730 Tender total, which isn’t bad for 25 bucks, especially when you compare it to other stuff in the World of Warcraft shop. Like, the Lana’thel’s Crimson Couture set costs 20 bucks, but you don’t get any Tender with that, and it’s not a recolor of existing gear like this pack is.

This special bundle will be available until the release of World of Warcraft: Midnight on March 2nd. It might come back to the Trading Post later, probably around June, but it will likely cost about the same amount of Trader’s Tender as similar items. If you’re interested in the set or need Trader’s Tender, it’s worth considering buying it now. You can even purchase it using in-game gold by buying WoW Tokens and converting them to Battle.net balance. Ultimately, your purchase (or lack thereof) influences what future items are offered in the cash shop.
