MLB The Show 26 Gets First Gameplay Trailer And Feature Details

Sony San Diego has released the first gameplay trailer for MLB The Show 26.

The new trailer, almost two minutes long, shows off gameplay for the first time and highlights some of the fresh features and improvements players can expect.

For gameplay, two big new features are Bear Down Pitching and Big Zone Hitting.

According to Sony San Diego, the new features will give players greater control when pitching, allowing them to dominate on the mound, and improved swing control when batting, maximizing their hitting potential. They encourage players to perform well in key moments on both offense and defense, and truly make their mark on the game.

Road to the Show now features 11 new colleges for players to join, plus updated player attributes to improve. A revamped rating system also helps distinguish players and create more unique experiences.

The World Baseball Classic is now featured in Diamond Dynasty, letting you play with all 20 national teams. You can even play games at the Tokyo Dome! In Franchise mode, the trade system has been updated with smarter trading logic, and player lineups and rotations feel more realistic.

We’ll be sharing more information about the new features in the coming weeks, including detailed looks at each one.

I just watched the full trailer, and it looks awesome! If you’re a baseball fan, you’ll want to check out MLB The Show 26 when it drops on March 17th. It’s coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and even the Nintendo Switch, which is huge!
