It’s midweek, and time to stay focused! If you’re working on a streak with NYT Connections, you’ll need to solve today’s puzzle. I’ve got hints, tips, and the solutions right here to help you keep it going!
Read on to smash this puzzle as quickly as possible today!
What is NYT Connections?
I should probably give a little background information before diving into today’s NYT Connections hints and clues.
NYT Connections launched in June 2023 and quickly became popular, and it’s not hard to understand why. This free game from the New York Times is easy to access for players around the world, whether they’re using a computer or the mobile app.
NYT Connections is a great way to pass the time, like when you’re commuting or waiting for your coffee.
But how do you play NYT Connections?

It’s relatively simple, and that’s why it’s the best New York Times game, in my opinion.
Each day, the New York Times Connections game gives you a grid with 16 words. Your job is to group them into four sets of four, based on what they have in common. There’s only one correct solution to each puzzle, and because some words can have multiple meanings, it can sometimes be challenging to solve.
The words are also color-coded to show how challenging they are: yellow is the easiest, followed by blue, green, and then purple, which is the most difficult.
The important thing to remember is you only get four attempts each day. Use them all up, and you won’t be able to solve today’s NYT Connections puzzle – that’s when the game ends.
