9 Most Advanced Haki Users In One Piece

Haki is a crucial ability in the world of One Piece, becoming even more important after the timeskip when the Straw Hat Pirates enter the New World. It allows individuals to harness their spiritual energy for various purposes, such as greatly enhancing their senses, creating a protective barrier, or overpowering opponents with sheer willpower.

Haki is an incredibly powerful ability in One Piece, but it’s very difficult to learn. Few characters ever manage to unlock it, and even fewer are able to truly master it. Recently, in the Final Saga, the author, Oda, has shown us many skilled Haki users, and the strongest of them can defeat almost any opponent using Haki alone.

Monkey D. Luffy

A New Emperor Of The Sea

  • Haki Types: Color of Arms, Color of Observation, Color of the Supreme King

Monkey D. Luffy, the main character of the series, is considered one of the most skilled Haki users in One Piece. It took time for him to develop his abilities, but he’s now incredibly powerful when using Haki. In fact, Luffy is among the rare few who can wield all three advanced forms of Haki, which are:

  • Observation
  • Armament
  • Conqueror’s

Luffy possesses advanced Haki abilities, allowing him to foresee attacks, inflict internal injuries without physically touching opponents, and empower himself with the Conqueror’s Haki for devastating blows. However, Luffy hasn’t fully developed his Haki skills. The Elbaf arc hinted at this, revealing he still has much to learn, as demonstrated by his training with Scopper Gaban.

Silvers Rayleigh

The Dark King

  • Haki Types: Color of Arms, Color of Observation, Color of the Supreme King

Silvers Rayleigh, the right-hand man of the Pirate King, is incredibly skilled in Haki. Unlike many powerful fighters who rely on Devil Fruits, Rayleigh mastered all three types of Haki: Armament, Observation, and Conqueror’s. He’s particularly strong with Armament and Conqueror’s Haki, and is one of the rare few who can use Armament Haki to damage an opponent’s internal organs.

Fans are also aware that Rayleigh possesses incredibly strong Conqueror’s Haki, powerful enough to frighten even a seasoned pirate like Blackbeard. It’s clear that Rayleigh is a remarkably skilled and potent Haki master – he even taught Luffy how to use it.

Scopper Gaban

The Mountain Eater

  • Haki Types: Color of Arms, Color of Observation, Color of the Supreme King

Let me tell you about Scopper Gaban – he was the Pirate King’s right-hand man, and seriously one of the strongest pirates ever! People called him the Mountain Eater, and what’s amazing is that he fought using only Haki. Seriously, only Haki! He was considered an elite pirate, right up there with legends like Roger and Rayleigh. Gaban wasn’t just good with Haki, he mastered all three types, but he was especially incredible with both Observation Haki and Conqueror’s Haki – a true master of both!

Gaban is actually more skilled in both swordsmanship and Haki than Luffy, even though he’s quite old at this point in the story. While he’s proficient with Armament Haki, it’s his Conqueror’s Haki that truly makes him a dangerous opponent in a fight.

Rocks D. Xebec

The Survivor Of the Davy Clan

  • Haki Types: Color of Arms, Color of Observation, Color of the Supreme King

Rocks D. Xebec was a hugely influential figure in the One Piece world, and fans recently saw his incredible power displayed in a flashback during the Elbaf arc. He was exceptionally strong, and like Roger, he fought using Haki.

Rocks used all three types of Haki, but he was particularly skilled with Conqueror’s Haki. He could, of course, coat himself and his weapons with it, but he wasn’t satisfied with just that basic ability.

Rocks achieved a new level of strength by mastering Haki, allowing him to create devastating shockwaves with his sword that could knock out opponents with a single strike. His sword attacks became famous because of this, demonstrating his exceptional Haki skills. Remarkably, he was even able to defeat a Marine Admiral with surprising ease.

Monkey D. Garp

The Hero of the Marines

  • Haki Types: Color of Arms, Color of Observation, Color of the Supreme King

Known as the ‘Hero of the Navy,’ Garp is incredibly powerful, especially when it comes to Haki. He’s a master of both Armament and Conqueror’s Haki. While we saw glimpses of his Conqueror’s Haki during the Egghead arc, the recent flashback to God Valley, revealed in the Elbaf arc, truly showed fans just how skilled he is.

During his battle with the Rocks Pirates, Garp demonstrated an extraordinary level of Conqueror’s Haki, so much so that he could break through their Haki defenses. This showed that Garp was incredibly skilled with Haki in his younger years. Even now, as an older man, his Haki is still stronger than Luffy’s.

Gol D. Roger

The Pirate King

  • Haki Types: Color of Arms, Color of Observation, Color of the Supreme King

Gold D. Roger, the Pirate King, mainly used Haki to fight, and the story consistently shows this. He mastered all three kinds of Haki, but was particularly skilled with Conqueror’s Haki. During his fight with Rocks, Roger even managed to break through Rocks’ Haki, which was already strengthened by Imu’s power at that time.

Furthermore, Roger possessed the incredibly rare and powerful Voice of All Things, a highly advanced form of Observation Haki. Ultimately, he even became stronger than Rocks D. Xebec at his peak, demonstrating just how formidable Roger truly was.

Imu

The Sovereign of the World

  • Haki Types: Color of Arms, Color of Observation, Color of the Supreme King

Imu, the ruler of the world, is a very powerful Haki user, as fans have already seen. The flashback to God Valley showed just how strong Imu is – they were able to withstand attacks from five masters of Haki without getting hurt at all, which was a huge surprise.

Imu is incredibly skilled in all forms of Haki, but we haven’t seen the specifics of their abilities yet. They’ve demonstrated powerful Conqueror’s Haki both at God Valley and in Elbaf, and it’s clear this Haki is among the strongest ever displayed in the world of One Piece.

Shanks

Roger’s Apprentice

  • Haki Types: Color of Arms, Color of Observation, Color of the Supreme King

Shanks, one of the most powerful pirates in the world, is incredibly skilled in using Haki. Many fans believe he’s currently the strongest Haki user. Like his mentor, Gol D. Roger, Shanks relies on Haki in combat, with a particular mastery of Conqueror’s Haki. He’s also capable of using advanced techniques with both Armament and Observation Haki.

Shanks is One Piece’s most skilled user of Conqueror’s Haki. He can not only overwhelm opponents with its power, but also disable their ability to sense attacks – a feat no one else has demonstrated. Simply put, Shanks’s control over Haki surpasses all others in the series.

Joy Boy

The Former Nika

  • Haki Types: Color of Arms, Color of Observation, Color of the Supreme King

In terms of raw Haki power, Joy Boy is unmatched in the world of One Piece. We saw a hint of his abilities during the Egghead arc, and at its peak, his Haki was strong enough to not only cancel out Imu’s powers but also inflict damage upon them.

Joy Boy possessed an incredibly powerful form of Haki, likely the strongest we’ve seen in the world of One Piece. Currently, only Shanks seems to be at a comparable level. While many details about Joy Boy’s Haki remain a mystery, the author, Oda, will likely reveal more as the story progresses.
