The game Menace is now playable with an Xbox Game Pass subscription, after first being available in early access on February 5th. Although Menace is currently only available on PC, Xbox Game Pass has also added two new games that can be played on multiple platforms.
Menace, developed by Overhype Studios and published by Hooded Horse, is a sci-fi tactical RPG. Players command a team responding to galactic threats. Many previews have compared it to recent XCOM games, thanks to its similar gameplay and extensive character customization options.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Adds Menace, Madden NFL 26, and More
The game Menace became available in early access on February 5th, and was also added to Xbox Game Pass as part of the Game Preview program. Joining it were Madden NFL 26 and PAW Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship. Currently, the early access version of Menace is only available on PC, with no plans announced for other platforms. However, both Madden NFL 26 and PAW Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship can be played on PC, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, and through Xbox Cloud Gaming. The PAW Patrol racing game is also compatible with Windows-based handheld devices.
Out of the three new games added, only PAW Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship is included with Xbox Game Pass Premium. The other two are available with PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It usually takes around six months for these third-party games to move from the Ultimate tier to the Premium tier, based on standard yearly licensing agreements, but there’s no set schedule. Madden NFL 26 won’t be added to Premium because it requires the EA Play subscription, which is only part of PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

As a Game Pass subscriber, I’m so excited for the new games coming in February 2026! We’re getting seven titles, starting with Relooted on February 10th. Then, on February 12th, BlazBlue Entropy Effect X, Roadside Research, and Starsand Island will be added. The next day, February 13th, brings Kingdom Come Deliverance and High on Life 2! And great news – High on Life 2 (along with Menace) will be available on Game Pass right when it launches in February!

On February 17th, players with Xbox Game Pass Premium will gain access to both Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora from Ubisoft and the popular RPG Avowed from Obsidian. This addition is particularly noteworthy for Avowed, which was initially slated to join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on February 18, 2025, demonstrating Microsoft’s dedication to adding new first-party Xbox games to the service within a year of their launch.
