As a seasoned gamer who has spent countless hours of my youth (and some adulthood too) mastering the art of Tetris, the announcement of Tetris Forever has sent waves of nostalgia and excitement coursing through me! The prospect of revisiting these classic games that were a significant part of my gaming journey is simply thrilling.


As an ardent admirer, I’m thrilled to share the news that Digital Eclipse has officially revealed the lineup of 14 games set to feature in the immersive documentary experience known as Tetris Forever.

Tetris Forever is the newest addition to Digital Eclipse’s “Gold Master Series” – a special collection (The Making of Karateka). This game can be played as part of a documentary that commemorates the original, groundbreaking puzzle game and shares the fascinating tale of its development, from a humble one-person project behind the Iron Curtain to a globally recognized video game franchise that maintains enduring popularity.

Step back to 1984 with an authentic replication of the original Tetris on the Electronika 60 computer, engage in the multiplayer sensation Tetris Battle Gaiden, trigger massive chain reactions to clear lines in Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss, and many more classic games. This collection features both single-player and multiplayer games that have been meticulously adapted or recreated from their original versions published on the Electronika 60, Apple II, NES, Game Boy, and Nintendo’s Japanese-market consoles Famicon and Super Famicon.

Tetris Forever introduces an innovative game called Tetris Time Warp, created by Digital Eclipse. This fresh interpretation of the original allows players to travel through various periods of Tetris, blending graphics, playstyles, and mechanics in a seamless, real-time experience. Further games may be added after or on the release date.

In the year 2024, Tetris Forever will be released for various platforms including PC (via Steam and GOG), Nintendo Switch, PS4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X.
