Capcom is releasing a playable demo for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection today, called the “Trial Version.” You can try it out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC through Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
This demo lets you create your own character, try out the combat system, and get a feel for what it’s like to be a ranger. Plus, if you play the demo and then buy the full game on March 13th, you can carry your progress over! You can see the demo in action in the new trailer for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection below.
You can now pre-order Twisted Reflection! If you pre-order, you’ll receive a special Layered Armor outfit for Eleanor the Skyscale Queen, which you can equip in-game once the Change Companion Outfits feature is unlocked. The game will be available in Standard, Deluxe, and Premium Deluxe Editions. The Standard Edition costs $69.99, the Deluxe Edition is $89.99, and the Premium Deluxe Edition is $99.99.
The Deluxe Edition includes the complete game plus the ‘Rudy’s Tale’ side story, which will be released in fall 2026. It also adds special outfits for your companions, more looks for Rudy, and new hairstyles for your character. If you choose the Premium Deluxe Edition, you’ll get everything in the Deluxe Edition, plus an exclusive cosmetic DLC pack.
Capcom is also releasing new amiibo figures to coincide with the March 13, 2026 launch of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. Here’s what’s coming:
