As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the latest sales data for 2024 has been quite intriguing. EA Sports College Football 25 maintaining its top spot is no surprise, given its consistent performance and deep-rooted appeal in the collegiate sports community.
2024 gaming year, and lemme tell ya, I’ve been on a roll with EA Sports College Football 25! Took over the #1 spot back in July from Helldivers 2, and it’s been holding strong ever since, according to Circana’s latest sales data. US gamers can’t seem to get enough of this one!
Among all the games on the list, only Madden 25, ranking at number 12, was a newcomer. Interestingly, Black Myth: Wukong, which has sold over 20 million copies since its August launch, didn’t make it into the top 20.
The one game to drop from the list is Sea of Thieves which sat at 19 last month. Other games on the list did move around like Dragon’s Dogma 2 falling slightly from four to six, and Grand Theft Auto V falling from 15 to 17. In what may surprise some people, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League remains on the list as the 15th-best-selling game in the US in 2024.
