Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered Collection Arrives in February 2025

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of nostalgia hearing about the upcoming Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered release. These games were part of my formative years in gaming, and seeing them get a fresh coat of paint is like revisiting old friends.

Based on the recent announcement, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered is set to launch on Valentine’s Day 2025. This release will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and both Epic Games Store and Steam for PC. The release date for Nintendo Switch has yet to be disclosed.

Aspyr is teaming up with Crystal Dynamics to finish the remastered series known as the Tomb Raider Hexology. This compilation will feature three games: Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, where Lara goes to Egypt in search of the Amulet of Horus; Tomb Raider: Chronicles, which tells four different stories through the memories of Lara’s friends, who believe her to be deceased; and Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness, in which Lara is falsely accused of multiple murders, including that of her former mentor, causing her to become a wanted fugitive.

In Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, you can switch between classic and updated graphics, offering a nostalgic trip down memory lane or a modern visual experience. The narrative is rich with unsolved mysteries and hidden secrets, making Lara Croft’s vanishing and reappearance even more enigmatic than before.

In Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, you’ll find not one but two control schemes: Classic and Modern. If you choose Classic, get ready for the original tank-like controls. On the other hand, the Modern Mode provides more fluid movements and camera adjustments.

Additionally, the assortment includes Boss Health Indicators for enhanced interaction during battles, over 150 trophies to gather, and a fresh photo mode to showcase your most cherished game moments. Pre-orders for Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered are currently available.
