One Piece: Every Worst Generation Pirate With Yonko Level Potential, Ranked

In the world of One Piece, the most powerful pirates are called the Yonko, or Four Emperors. They’re considered rulers of the New World, and are so strong that even the World Government avoids conflict with them. The original Yonko were Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido, and Shanks. However, after the timeskip and especially the events in Wano, the lineup has changed. Now, the Yonko consist of Luffy, Blackbeard, Buggy, and Shanks.

Although Luffy’s crew is powerful, several pirates of their generation – known as the Worst Generation – are likely to become Yonko (Emperors) in the future. The Worst Generation consists of pirates who all arrived at Sabaody Archipelago around the same time and had bounties exceeding 100 million berries, including Blackbeard. Luffy and Blackbeard have already achieved Yonko status, but other members of this group also have the potential to become Emperors.

4. Trafalgar Law

  • Affiliation: Heart Pirates
  • Devil Fruit: Ope Ope no Mi
  • Haki Types: Observation, Armament

Trafalgar Law is a hugely popular character in One Piece, and it’s not hard to understand why. From the moment he appeared, he’s proven to be an incredibly strong fighter, and his alliance with the Straw Hat Pirates has boosted his popularity even more. He famously teamed up with Luffy to liberate Dressrosa by defeating Doflamingo, and continued to fight alongside the Straw Hats in Wano, playing a crucial role in the battle against Big Mom and Kaido. Law, along with Kid, was instrumental in finally defeating Big Mom.

Law possesses the power of the Ope Ope no Mi, a Devil Fruit that lets him create special spaces called ROOMs where he has complete control. He’s also skilled in both Armament and Observation Haki. While he might be able to awaken Conqueror’s Haki, it remains to be seen if he will.

Law’s Yonko Level Potential Feats

Law is consistently mentioned among the strongest members of the Worst Generation. He’s shown the potential to become a Yonko – one of the most powerful pirates – on several occasions throughout the series. Notably, in Wano, Law directly confronted and fought Big Mom, with assistance from Kid. Despite Big Mom’s immense strength and powerful Haki, Law managed to inflict serious injuries using his Shock Wille and Puncture Wille abilities. Their victory resulted in a bounty of 3 billion berries, putting them at the same level as current Yonko Luffy. Law also demonstrated his strength by holding his own against Yonko Blackbeard for a period of time.

3. Eustass Kid

  • Affiliation: Kid Pirates
  • Devil Fruit: Jiki Jiki no Mi
  • Haki Types: Observation, Armament, Conqueror’s

Eustass Kid immediately impressed fans when he first appeared in One Piece as a member of the Worst Generation. He became important to the story again during the Wano Arc. After being double-crossed by some of his fellow Worst Generation pirates, Kid decided to team up with the Straw Hat Pirates to attack Onigashima. With his strong will and toughness, many believe Kid has the potential to become a Yonko – one of the most powerful pirates in the world.

This character has a unique Devil Fruit called the Jiki Jiki no Mi, granting him the power of magnetism. He can even turn people into magnets when he fully masters his abilities. Plus, he possesses the rare Conqueror’s Haki, demonstrating his incredible potential and strength.

Kid’s Yonko Level Potential Feats

Kid is a remarkably powerful member of the Worst Generation, as demonstrated during the Onigashima Raid. He fought alongside Luffy, Law, Killer, and Zoro on the rooftop, proving himself to be equally strong. Notably, Kid also directly confronted Yonko Big Mom, teaming up with Law but making a significant impact with his own unique attacks, like the Punk Gibson and Punk Corna Dio, even managing to land powerful hits on Linlin.

Kid’s most powerful attack, Damned Punk, is devastating enough to destroy an entire fleet of ships and even challenge one of the Four Emperors. Like Luffy and Law, he’s earned a bounty of 3 billion berries, marking him as a major threat. Although he’s currently sidelined, fans believe the author will definitely bring him back into the story.

2. Jewelry Bonney

  • Affiliation: Bonney Pirates (Formerly), Straw Hat Pirates
  • Devil Fruit: Toshi Toshi No Mi
  • Haki Types: Observation, Armament

Jewelry Bonney surprised many One Piece fans. When she first appeared, she didn’t seem particularly powerful compared to other characters. However, it’s now clear she’s much more significant than people initially thought. A recent reveal showed that despite appearing as an adult, Bonney is actually only 12 years old.

Bonney possesses the Toshi Toshi no Mi Devil Fruit, granting her the ability to make any future she imagines actually happen. This power lets her change ages – both her own and others – and offers a range of other capabilities. She recently reappeared in the Egghead arc and was a key player in the events there.

Bonney’s Yonko Potential Feats

Seeing Jewelry Bonney in action on Egghead was incredible, especially with the Five Elders showing up! Honestly, I was blown away to learn she can already use Haki, and she’s only twelve years old! It’s been confirmed she’s got Armament Haki, and it seems super likely she also has Observation Haki. That level of skill at such a young age? It really makes you think she has the potential to become a Yonko someday – she’s definitely one to watch!

Jewelry Bonney’s unique power comes from her Devil Fruit, which is incredibly strong. It lets her mimic other people’s abilities by changing her own future. This allowed her to even use a power as strong as Gear 5, a technique typically reserved for the most powerful pirates.

1. Roronoa Zoro

  • Affiliation: Straw Hat Pirates
  • Devil Fruit: N/A
  • Haki Types: Observation, Armament, Conqueror’s

Roronoa Zoro is a powerful member of the Straw Hat Pirates and is considered one of the strongest fighters of his generation. He’s the crew’s skilled swordsman and consistently prepared for challenging combat.

Zoro, unlike many of the strongest fighters in his generation, doesn’t have the powers of a Devil Fruit. He’s a master swordsman who depends on skill and Haki in battle. He does possess all three kinds of Haki – Armament, Observation, and Conqueror’s – but he’s still developing full control over them.

Zoro’s Yonko Level Potential Feats

Many One Piece fans believe Zoro is destined to become a Yonko, one of the most powerful pirates in the world. This expectation stems from the strong similarities between Zoro and Silvers Rayleigh, who was Roger’s incredibly powerful first mate. Rayleigh was known to be nearly equal in strength to Roger himself.

Zoro has proven his incredible strength before, standing alongside the strongest fighters on Onigashima to battle Emperors Kaido and Big Mom. Even though he didn’t inflict significant damage, simply being able to fight them was remarkable. He later defeated King, Kaido’s most powerful commander. Now, heading to Elbaf, Zoro is expected to showcase even greater abilities, likely mastering his Conqueror’s Haki to a whole new level.
