In Nioh 3, players can find Ochoko Cups in a couple of different ways. While these cups aren’t essential to completing the game or experiencing the story, they can be really helpful for players who are having trouble. They allow you to summon friendly computer-controlled characters to assist you in battle. Here’s how to get Ochoko Cups and use them to call for help in Nioh 3.
How To Get Ochoko Cup In Nioh 3
Defeating Revenant
You can usually get Ochoko Cups by defeating a Revenant, which appears from a Bloody Grave. These enemies are ghosts of other players who died in that area and will fight you based on how they used to play. If you defeat a Revenant, you’ll earn their equipment, including Ochoko Cups. Bloody Graves appear randomly as you explore, so there’s no specific place to look for them.
Leave Benelovant Graves
You can also create a special marker called a Righteous Spirit, which leaves behind a Benevolent Grave where other players can summon your character. There’s no limit to how many of these you can place. Players can purchase Righteous Spirits from a shop, or earn them by completing a quest with a special NPC.
If players use your Benevolent Grave, they can summon you as a character in the game. After they finish the task, they’ll receive Ochoko Cups as a reward. You can find these rewards at the Shrine under the Boons section.
Exploration
Occasionally, players can loot bodies while exploring to get Ochoko Cups as well.
How To Use Ochoko Cup In Nioh 3
When you find a glowing blue grave, you can summon a helpful player by offering it the correct number of Ochoko Cups. These are the graves of players who’ve chosen to assist others in tough battles. You might stumble upon them randomly while exploring, often near entrances to Dark Realms, but they’re most commonly found close to boss arenas.
The NPC you summon will let you borrow their weapon for a limited time – either for a specific number of fights or until you finish your current goal. You can check how much time is left by looking at the purple bar above their name on the screen.
You can visit other players’ worlds by using the Co-op option at the Shrine. Simply offer an Ochoko Cup, and then wait for someone to invite you in.
