During December, The Sims 4 ran a special holiday event to celebrate the release of its SpongeBob SquarePants themed kits. Players could earn free items simply by logging into the game every few days while the event lasted.
The Sims team is launching a special event alongside their new expansion pack, offering players a chance to earn exciting rewards. Called Lost Legacies, the event unfolds over four weeks with new quests and a developing story. This guide will help you understand everything you need to know to fully enjoy and complete the Lost Legacies event in The Sims 4.
How to Play the Lost Legacies Event in The Sims 4
I’m so excited! The Lost Legacies event is happening in The Sims 4 right now – it started on February 5th and runs all the way until March 16, 2026! They’re releasing two sets of quests each week for a month, and we have until the end of the event to finish as many as we can to get all the free Lost Legacies rewards. I’m definitely planning to try and complete them all!
New quests – Week 1 Quests, The Arrival, and Darong Beginnings – are now live! Completing these quests will earn you Event Points, letting you unlock rewards through the event’s Rewards tab. Once you claim a reward, it’s permanently linked to your EA account and available to enjoy whenever you like.
During the first week, players will need to meet with a royal messenger and investigate the mysteries surrounding the Darong family. The following Tuesday, new quests for Week 2 will be released, revealing another part of the story.
All Lost Legacies Event Rewards in The Sims 4
During the Lost Legacies event, players can earn a variety of rewards, including furniture, outfits, accessories, Simoleons, and Satisfaction Points.
As players uncover more secrets about the royal family, they’ll earn lovely key sets to show off on the Antique Curio Display Table. Best of all, this reward doesn’t cost any Event Points – you just need to log in to The Sims 4 during the Lost Legacies event to claim it.
Here’s a look at the rewards available during the Lost Legacies event. Most rewards are available to all players who own the base game, but some are only for those with specific Sims 4 expansion packs.
