OpTic Dynasty Proves It Still Has The Gunny in OpTic Legacy Black Ops II Tournament

As a long-time fan and observer of the esports scene, I must say that witnessing the OpTic Dynasty‘s performance at the OpTic Legacy Match was nothing short of nostalgic bliss. The energy, skill, and camaraderie they displayed against the current Call of Duty League champions, OpTic Texas, was a testament to their undying passion for the game.

The group known as ‘The Optic Dynasty’, made up of Scump, FormaL, Crimsix, and Karma, is frequently regarded as one of the toughest teams in Call of Duty lore. In the recent ‘Optic Legacy Match’ event held in Arlington, they solidified their status as a formidable opponent once again by overwhelming the current Call of Duty League world champions, Optic Texas.

This contest was a clash between the established veterans and the up-and-coming talents; those who shaped the game’s foundation versus those who preserve its spirit. Each time Dynasty performs, Optic supporters become overly excited, and this significant victory illustrates why they react in such a way.

Still Got It

Optic Gaming’s competitive matches are simply spectacular, and in Arlington, a massive audience gathered around an impressive stage to witness two Optic teams go head-to-head on Black Ops II. The setup was almost as good as a CDL Major, with the stage layout and station arrangements designed for pure competition from the desk to the face-off positions.

In case you want to watch this masterful series unfold in full, here’s the full stream.

Showing off by not surrendering a map to the present Champions of Call of Duty was quite bold, considering the diverse origins of these players. Of the four, only FormaL remains an active competitor, and his specialty is Halo – he even reached second place at this year’s Halo World Championship in Seattle.

In other places, Karma serves as a coach, Scump streams, and Crimsix is a racecar driver; however, they all possess the necessary talent. During the contest, the OpTic Dynasty squad crushed OpTic Texas in a Hardpoint round on Yemen, ending with an impressive 250 – 12 score.

Phenomenal stuff.

Call of Duty needs more of this energy in the off-season (or pre-season).
