Throughout your journey in Nioh 3, you’ll discover Six Jizo statues. Interacting with these statues earns you Jizo Merit, which works much like Kodama Blessing. You can spend this Merit at any Shrine by going to the Blessings section, where you’ll find four different Jizo Blessing options to choose from.
These benefits boost your damage in the Crucible and help you recover from the Life Corrosion effect enemies inflict there. Getting these Jizo Merits is really helpful, and this guide shows you where to find them all in the Warring States region of Nioh 3.
All Warring States Six Jizo in Nioh 3
Tenryu River
- Recommended Level: 6
Go southeast from Hojo Shrine, and follow the road. You’ll find six Jizo statues on the left side, guarded by a few enemies.
Tenryu River
- Recommended Level: 6
Head west from the Hamamatsu Gate. As you progress through the “A Drop of Hope” myth, you’ll encounter some bandits that you need to defeat. Once you’ve dealt with them, continue into the forest and turn right to find the Six Jizo.
Tokaido
- Recommended Level: 8
If you head south from the Forest of Souls Shrine, you’ll find the Six Jizo statues – they’re right on the side of the road, over to your right. As a fan exploring, it’s a pretty easy landmark to spot!
Maisaka
- Recommended Level: 19
You’ll find the Six Jizo statue inside the Water Mill. From the Shrine, use the lever to lower the bridge and move forward. The Six Jizo will be on your right, but it won’t have a head. Facing the statue, turn right to find its head resting on a rock platform. Pick up the head and bring it back to the Six Jizo to complete it.
Lake Sanaru
- Recommended Level: 19
Okay, so I was at the Waterside Shrine, and instead of heading north like you’re probably supposed to, I actually turned right and followed this little path to a temple. Inside, there’s a spot where you can drop down – it’s kinda hidden! If you do, you’ll eventually find the Six Jizo at the end of it all.
Mikatagahara
- Recommended Level: 20
Starting from the Otsuri Bridge Shrine by Lake Sanaru, go north over the bridge to reach Mikatagahara. From there, you can either ride a Scampuss to the Six Jizo, or climb the tree trunk on the left and follow the path at the top to get to your destination.
Hamamatsu Hill
- Recommended Level: 24
Head southeast to a large area inhabited by a worm-like Yokai. To your right, you can jump up the wall to discover the Six Jizo. You’ll need to offer a small amount of currency to interact with them.
Iinoya
- Recommended Level: 28
Once you arrive at Iinoya, continue along the road and turn left. At the intersection, look for a hidden path heading south – it won’t be marked on the map. Follow this path and you’ll find a Spirit Vein that will take you across to another Spirit Vein. This second Spirit Vein leads straight to the Six Jizo statues, where you’ll find a box underneath them.
Futamata Road
- Recommended Level: 35
Head northeast from Futamata Road to find a Lesser Crucible. You’ll need to destroy it to continue on to the Cavern of Respite Shrine. Before reaching the shrine, look to the left for a jumpable area where you can find the final Six Jizo statue.
