As a seasoned Guardian with countless hours spent traversing the cosmos and vanquishing foes in Destiny 2, I must say that Vesper’s Host has truly piqued my interest. The similarities to the Deep Stone Crypt raid are uncanny, yet it manages to feel fresh and challenging.
In the game Destiny 2, Vesper’s Host stands out as unique because it was the initial dungeon made available on both contest and normal modes simultaneously on its debut day. This activity transports players to Europa’s orbit and into the remnants of a weathered Bray space station, which may seem strikingly familiar to those who have experienced the Deep Stone Crypt raid. Notably, there are several parallels between these two activities, with similarities starting from their initial encounter.
In the competition, we captured images, yet the initial interaction lacks an anger timer that’s typically present.

Bank Three Nuclear Cores In The Back Of The Arena
The objective during this meeting is to gather three nuclear cores and store them in the deposits located at the rear of the arena (the area behind the large white orb on the ground). You can find these cores inside the rooms that branch off from the main arena; their entrances are identified by symbols resembling a yellow brain, a blue lung, and a red heart.
The interaction initiates with a ship appearing, accompanied by adversaries materializing within. Defeat them, and one of them may drop the Scanner Protocol item. A player should grab it. Subsequently, lights above three doors surrounding the arena will flash red. As a team, enter any of these doors, eliminate enemies along the way, and advance to the end destination.
Every door you enter will take you to a slightly varied chamber, yet the fundamental theme and contents will remain consistent: two towering mini-bosses from the Fallen faction that need to be vanquished. Along your journey, you’ll come across the Operator Protocol. This artifact should be handled by another player while the fourth one without a designated role guards against relentless enemy assaults.
To locate the keypads scattered throughout the rooms, the player with the Scanner should glance at their radar in the top left corner of the screen for flashing, yellow icons as they navigate the chamber. These icons represent the keypads that the Operator player must aim and fire at.
As Scanners move towards each control panel, they’ll trigger a sound and refresh the radar data. If the indicator changes from yellow to white on a particular control panel, the Operator should fire at that specific one. In each room, exactly four control panels need to be fired upon.
Carrying out this action involves removing a nuclear heart. Then, carefully lift it up, transport it back to the initial room to deposit it safely. Monitor the radiation readings constantly when handling the nuclear heart, as accumulating 10 times the radiation level will be fatal for players. The squad should take turns carrying the heart, and it’s safe to place it down temporarily without causing any issues.
Additional foes and another group will materialize within the room. To access the nuclear core vaults, you’ll need to eliminate them first. These vaults will initially be safeguarded by a blue barrier. With that, the round resumes, and participants must pass through another entryway, eliminate the enemies, collect the Scanner and Operator Instructions, and hit specific buttons to generate a nuclear core. Once the final core is obtained, a massive group will appear. The encounter concludes when all three cores are deposited.
