Wuling is the second area you’ll reach in Arknights: Endfield, following Valley IV. Reaching Wuling in version 1.0 signals the start of the endgame. Here, players need to learn how to produce Xiranite, and then design a specific layout for Xiranite Components to craft top-tier Gears.
How To Make Xiranite In Arknights Endfield
In Arknights: Endfield, you craft Xiranite by combining 2 Stabilized Carbon and 1 Water at the Forge of the Sky. This building is unique to the Wuling region, so you can’t build it in Valley IV. Keep in mind that you can only construct a limited number of Forge of the Sky facilities, preventing you from creating an unlimited supply of Xiranite.
How To Use Xiranite In Arknights Endfield
Here are all the things you can make with Xiranite:
| Xiranite Item | Ingredients | Facility |
|---|---|---|
| Xiranite Component | 10 Xiranite + 10 Packed Origocrust | Gearing Unit |
| LC Wuling Battery | 5 Xiranite + 15 Dense Originium Powder | Packaging Unit |
| Liquid Xiranite | 1 Xiranite + 1 Water | Reactor Crucible |
| Xiranite Pylon | 5 Xiranite | PAC or Sub-PAC (Construction) |
| Xiranite Relay | 20 Xiranite | PAC or Sub-PAC (Construction) |
| Depot Bus Section | 20 Xiranite | PAC or Sub-PAC (Construction) |
| Depot Bus Port | 50 Xiranite | PAC or Sub-PAC (Construction) |
Xiranite Factory Layout In Arknights Endfield
Because Xiranite is made using only Stabilized Carbon and Water, you don’t need to use a depot belt for its production. Here’s how Xiranite is made in Endfield:
- 1 Sandleaf or 1 Buckflower in Refining Unit = 1 Carbon
- 1 Carbon in Shredding Unit = 2 Carbon Powder
- 2 Carbon Powder + 1 Sandleaf Powder in Grinding Unit = 1 Dense Carbon Powder
- 1 Dense Carbon Powder in Refining Unit = 1 Stabilized Carbon
If you’re continuously replanting Sandleaf and Buckflower (using a seed loop), it’s more efficient to have two production lines instead of one. With two Planting Units, you’ll get one Sandleaf or Buckflower every 4 seconds, which also means you’ll produce one Carbon every 4 seconds. This can slow down the overall production of Carbon Powder, making it less efficient.
Here’s how to set things up: First, connect one Seed-Picking Unit in a loop with two Planting Units. Then, send the output of those units to just one Refining Unit (you don’t need both). Next, connect the Refining Unit to the Shredding Unit. Finally, create two conveyor belts running from the Shredding Unit to the Grinding Unit – this is important to keep everything flowing smoothly and prevent blockages.
You can build an Electric Pylon outside the factory grounds. In Wuling, Xiranite Pylons will connect to the power grid automatically. However, in Valley IV, you’ll need to manually connect power lines around the edge of the map.
Create a repeating process for Sandleaf, similar to the one for Carbon, to produce Sandleaf Powder. This powder is needed to make Dense Carbon Powder. You’ll need one planting unit for every shredding unit – a simpler ratio than with Carbon. Even though you’ll only shred one Sandleaf every four seconds, each plant will yield three Sandleaf Powders. Since you only need one powder every two seconds, or three every four seconds, this production rate is more than sufficient.
Build one Refining Unit using resources from the Grinding Unit. This unit will convert Dense Carbon Powder into Stabilized Carbon. Connect it directly to the Forge of the Sky so you can start making Xiranite.
Okay, so for the fastest build time, I need two Stabilized Carbon. What I usually do is build one on each side of where I want the final thing to be, and then connect them together in the middle. It just speeds everything up, trust me!
After you’ve processed the Stabilized Carbon, the next thing to do is create a water connection to the Forge of the Sky. Build a Fluid Pump and then use it to connect a pipe directly to the Forge.
Xiranite Component Factory Layout In Arknights Endfield
In Arknights: Endfield, you craft Xiranite Components by combining 10 Packed Origocrust and 10 Xiranite. This is a key material for creating Gears in Endfield, so it’s important to produce a lot of it. Here’s how to make Packed Origocrust:
- 1 Originium Ore in Refining Unit = 1 Origocrust
- 1 Origocrust in Shredding Unit = 2 Origocrust Powder
- 2 Origocrust Powder + 1 Sandleaf Powder in Grinding Unit = 1 Dense Origocrust Powder
- 1 Dense Origocrust Powder in Refining Unit = 1 Packed Origocrust
To create one Dense Origocrust Powder, you need two Origocrust Powders, which means setting up two stages of Refining and Shredding to supply the Grinding Unit. For efficiency, it’s recommended to produce Sandleaf in a separate location, allowing a single Shredder to support two Grinding Units.
You need two Grinding Units for optimal production, so this is a great setup.
After materials are processed in the Grinding Unit, send them to the Refining Unit to create Packed Origocrust. Then, you can connect the Refining Unit directly to the Gearing Unit.
In Wuling, position the Depot Bus centrally to allow access and use from both sides.
You need 10 Xiranite every 10 seconds, which means a single production line isn’t enough. You’ll need two Xiranite lines working together to keep the Gearing Unit supplied.
