For a long time, fans have been eagerly awaiting the reveal of the Holy Knights of Marijoa in the One Piece story. These knights are the World Government’s strongest warriors, made up of the most powerful Celestial Dragons, and they work together to carry out Imu’s orders in the One Piece world.
Because Celestial Dragons hold such a powerful position, Imu has granted each of them a Deep-Sea Contract. This contract makes them incredibly durable, protecting them from most physical attacks, and also gives them various magical abilities. What’s particularly fascinating, though, are the Devil Fruits some of them possess, so let’s explore those now.
Honorable Mention: St. Satchels Maffey’s Mysterious Power

The God Valley flashback in One Piece revealed many of the Holy Knights from a past era. Among them was St. Satchels Maffey, a powerful and cruel Celestial Dragon who nearly killed Monkey D. Dragon.
The source of her power remains a mystery, but a popular theory suggests she secretly ate a Devil Fruit that lets her fire strong energy beams from her mouth. However, it’s not certain this power even comes from a Devil Fruit, so it’s difficult to say how significant it is.
St. Shepherd Sommers Has The Iba Iba no Mi
Other Name: Thorn-Thron Fruit
Sommers is a long-serving, highly experienced member of the Holy Knights, and a true veteran of many battles. However, he’s also known for being incredibly cruel and enjoys inflicting pain on others. This makes his Devil Fruit, the terrifying Iba Iba no Mi, a fitting power for such a character.
This fruit grants Sommers the ability to create an unlimited number of invisible, thorn-covered vines. These vines are incredibly strong—as durable as steel—and can be used both to attack and defend. He demonstrated this power by completely ensnaring all the children of Elbaf to prevent rescue, and also by reinforcing his weapon with them.

St. Figarland Shamrock’s Sword May Have The Cerberus Fruit
Name: Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Cerberus
While it hasn’t been officially stated, the most probable explanation for Shamrock’s sword’s abilities is that it absorbed the power of the Cerberus Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit, which hasn’t appeared in the story yet. Since weapons are known to be able to absorb Devil Fruit powers, this seems like the most logical reason for what Shamrock demonstrated.
Shamrock can summon Cerberus from his sword, giving him command of a huge, ferocious mythical beast with incredibly sharp teeth and immense strength. This power allowed Shamrock to seriously injure Loki, despite Loki being a massive, incredibly tough Ancient Giant, proving this Devil Fruit is exceptionally powerful.
Manmayer Gunko Has The Aro Aro no Mi
Other Name: Arrow-Arrow Fruit
Gunko’s Devil Fruit, the Aro Aro no Mi, is a Paramecia type that gives her a remarkably flexible ability. Essentially, she can generate arrows from her own body. These arrows aren’t just for attacking; she can also use them to defend herself or provide support in various ways, making it a very adaptable power.
Gunko’s fighting style involves using arrows to mark out attack routes, which she then follows up with punches or kicks. These arrows can also be used directly as weapons for stabbing. Beyond that, she can use them to fly, restrain enemies, and even force opponents to move along a path she creates. Considering all of its abilities, the Aro Aro no Mi is arguably one of the most powerful Devil Fruits in the series.
St. Limosiv Killingham Has The Kirin Devil Fruit
Name: Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Kirin
St. Limosiv Killingham is shaping up to be one of the most dangerous enemies the heroes will encounter in the Elbaf arc, second only to Imu. His Devil Fruit, the Kirin, is incredibly powerful – a Mythical Zoan type that can even change reality and bring things from dreams into existence. What’s more, Killingham can instantly put people to sleep, allowing him to easily summon and weaponize their nightmares.
Killingham’s abilities were central to the Holy Knight’s schemes for Elbaf. He could create enormous, terrifying monsters based on children’s thoughts – creatures far bigger and stronger than even the giants. Adding to his immense power to conjure these colossal beings, the Kirin fruit is also Awakened, making Killingham one of the most formidable opponents seen in the series so far.
