All Warring States Lesser Crucibles & Crucible Spikes in Nioh 3

In Nioh 3, you can find collectibles called Lesser Crucibles and Crucible Spikes scattered throughout the game world. When you enter one of these areas, you’ll have to fight off waves of enemies. Winning these battles rewards you with items, gear, and even Soul Cores. Successfully completing a Lesser Crucible boosts your Spirit Force and unlocks further exploration for more collectibles. This guide shows you where to find them all in Nioh 3.

All Warring States Lesser Crucibles & Crucible Spikes in Nioh 3

Tenryu River – Crucible Spike

  • Recommended Level: 6

From the Hojo Shrine, head east to find three Shunobon enemies around the Crucible Spike.

Tenryu River – Lesser Crucible

  • Recommended Level: 6

Go west from the Hamamatsu Gate Shrine and continue along the path. When you can, turn right to find the first Lesser Crucible.

Tokaido – Lesser Crucible

  • Recommended Level: 8

From the Cape Cavern Shrine, head west to find this Lesser Crucible.​​​​​​​

Hamamatsu – Lesser Crucible

  • Recommended Level: 10

You’ll find this spot close to the Hamamatsu Post Shrine. It’s required to advance the main story, so you’ll encounter it while traveling through Hamamatsu.

Maisaka – Lesser Crucible

  • Recommended Level: 19

After you arrive in Maisaka, cross the damaged bridge, and you’ll find the Lesser Crucible nearby.

Lake Sanaru – Lesser Crucible

  • Recommended Level: 19

Once you enter Lake Sanaru, turn left and go towards the shrine you need to reach for the blacksmith’s quest. You’ll come across this along the way.

Starting at the Waterside Shrine by Lake Sanaru, face southeast and find a path going towards a building. Don’t go to the building itself – instead, turn right to discover the Crucible Spike.

Lake Hamana – Lesser Crucible

  • Recommended Level: 25

In the Lake Hamana Disaster myth, your journey will lead you to Horie Castle. You’ll find the Lesser Crucible inside.

Okay, so once I managed to chill Daidara Bochi out, I headed to the beginning of this area. The Crucible Spike is just northeast of where I was, so that’s where I went next.

Iinoya – Lesser Crucible

  • Recommended Level: 28

Head south of Iinoya to the Temple Ruins Cemetery. You’ll need to search the temple and defeat any enemies there to find the collectible.

Starting at the Omomiji Junction Shrine, go west. Look to your left as you go up the wooden ramp, and you’ll see the spike.

Futamata Road – Lesser Crucible

  • Recommended Level: 35

Okay, so you’ll find it just south of the Silver Grass Meadow Shrine. It’s super easy – just take the path leading down from the shrine, and you’ll run right into the item. It’s blocking the way to a bunch of other collectibles, so you can’t miss it!

  • Recommended Level: 35

Starting at the Firefly Forest Shrine on Futamata Road, head straight and then take the path on the left. Continue by jumping over the tree stumps and going up the hill. Once at the top, descend on the right side to reach the Crucible Spike.

Head straight again, but this time, turn right after passing the Firefly Forest Shrine. If you keep going on this path, you’ll find the collectible.

From the Juji Fortress (East) Shrine, head north to find the last Lesser Crucible.
