Check your bingo card carefully, as I wasn’t expecting to see it listed there, but I’m thrilled about the upcoming video game adaptation of A Quiet Place in 2024. The game centers around a lone survivor navigating deserted landscapes in search of her family while avoiding and eluding the deadly aliens that have taken over, using their heightened hearing abilities.
In “A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead”, sound plays a crucial role to keep players on edge. It’s not just about avoiding sounds within the game, but also being mindful of your own noise levels when playing, as a recent unveiling suggests that even your real-life murmurs could be picked up by your microphone and prove lethal!
Life is Strange: Double Exposure

Let me make myself clear right from the start: I’m not familiar with the Life is Strange series at all. However, after listening to Grant’s enthusiastic reviews at TopMob, I think it’s high time I explore this franchise for myself.
From what I understand about Life is Strange: Double Exposure, Max Caulfield makes another appearance, this time with a novel ability to move between several narratives within the plot. The task at hand involves navigating these interconnected realities to locate Safi and unravel the mystery of her murder before it happens in an alternate timeline.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Well, it’s hardly necessary for me to discuss Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, but I suppose I should, given that my editor might frown upon blank spaces. The truth is, Black Ops 6 stands out this year in a remarkable way – as the initial installment from the franchise available on Xbox Game Pass on its launch day, following Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision-Blizzard.
In essence, Black Ops 6 was remarkably enjoyable and authentic for those immersed in its intense multiplayer arenas during the beta phases. However, if I’m forced to replay Skyline, I might vent my frustration on X with a passionate message, though I’m aware it may go unnoticed by many.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Back then, I vividly recall purchasing Dragon Age: Origins for PC, the old-fashioned boxed version. Somewhere in my possession, it remains, but my focus is now on Dragon Age: The Veilguard. My wife keeps me updated about it every day, so avoiding it isn’t an option, even if I had no interest in the upcoming RPG. Fortunately, everything I’ve learned and seen—ranging from the character customization to the realistic hair dynamics—looks fantastic.
In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, players are once again immersed in the lively realm of Thedas, filled with danger at every turn. You’ll take on the role of Rook, a valiant hero tasked with assembling a team of seven companions, each with their own captivating tales and distinct personalities, to prevent a malevolent deity from destroying the world.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl

2010 marked the last time a fresh S.T.A.L.K.E.R. title graced our screens, and since then, fans who fondly remember the captivating open-world first-person shooter have been eagerly waiting for a sequel. The wait is finally over! In spite of the challenges faced by GSC Game World during development, they are now ready to release S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Heart of Chornobyl worldwide in November this year.
Come November’s end, I can hardly wait for Heart of Chornobyl to completely immerse me in its world! This 100-hour adventure offers faction dynamics, weapon customization, survival aspects, and endless exploration through the post-apocalyptic wasteland of the zone. Here’s to getting lost within its game universe!

As a passionate gamer, this year has been absolutely thrilling for horror enthusiasts like myself! Games such as The Outlast Trials, Silent Hill 2, Still Wakes the Deep, and Crow Country have been chilling experiences that I won’t soon forget. And it looks like there’s more terror on the horizon, with Slitterhead from Bokeh Game Studio set to release in early November! This game, developed by none other than Keiichiro Toyama – the mastermind behind Silent Hill – is sure to send shivers down our spines. I can hardly wait!
In the bustling cityscape of Kowlong, you assume the character of “Hyoki,” an extraordinary being with the power to inhabit human bodies. Your mission is to eliminate the menacing Slitterheads that terrorize the city streets. To do so, you’ll use human blood as your unique weapon in this battle against these demonic entities, which can initially disguise themselves as humans before dramatically transforming, much like the Necromorphs from Dead Space.
