Xbox Game Pass now includes the game Relooted. It’s available to play starting today, making it the seventh game added to the service this February and the 25th new game added so far in 2026.
Relooted is a puzzle-platformer game where you pull off heists from a side-scrolling perspective. Created by the developers of Semblance, Nyamakop, the game is set in a futuristic Johannesburg. Players build a team to steal back authentic African artifacts from Western museums (within the game’s fictional world). A key aspect of Relooted is its unique ‘Africanfuturist‘ style and story.
Relooted Now Available Across 2 Xbox Game Pass Tiers
The game Relooted became available today, February 10th, on the Microsoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. It was also added to the Xbox Game Pass library on the same day, making it Nyamakop’s second game to launch directly into the service this month. Currently, Relooted is included with PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions. Although there isn’t a version specifically for Xbox One, players with that console can still play it using Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Relooted combines careful planning with fast-paced action. Players recruit characters from across Africa to plan and execute heists: figuring out how to get in and out, securing the objective, and escaping quickly. Initial reviews suggest the heists are exciting and feature a mix of puzzles and stealth gameplay. The game is deeply rooted in African culture, both visually and thematically, focusing on the idea of reclaiming cultural heritage. While Africanfuturism – a style blending African culture with futuristic elements and optimism – has become popular, it’s rarely seen in video games. One notable exception is Tales of Kenzera: Zau, a 2023 metroidvania that was also available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
