You can even see individual pores and hairs on their faces in some scenes, it’s mind-blowing!

Like all great games, it boasts a consistent and unified art style – everything from the character outfits and creature designs to the environments all feel connected to the game’s story and world. It’s easy to get lost in the details, like Aloy’s distinctive clothing or the way light filters through the trees and clouds. This franchise uniquely blends natural beauty with futuristic technology.

Though Alan Wake 2 might not appeal to everyone with its unique and complex horror story, it won Best Art Direction at The Game Awards 2023 for a reason.
