New Cyberpunk Game on Steam is Completely Free to Play

I just stumbled across this awesome new game on Steam called D1AL-ogue, and I have to share! It’s a cyberpunk puzzle game, but it’s surprisingly cozy, which is a really cool combo. The best part? It’s totally free to play! It came out on February 5th, 2026, from the indie team at CherryPicker and Jungle Game Lab, and honestly, it’s already got a 95% positive rating from players – everyone seems to be loving it as much as I am! If you’re into puzzles and cyberpunk, you need to check this one out.

Steam has tons of free games in all sorts of genres. But it’s often difficult to find ones that are actually good and don’t constantly try to get you to spend more money. Luckily, the new cyberpunk game D1AL-ogue seems to be different – it’s truly free to play and also really enjoyable.

D1AL-ogue Is a Free-to-Play Cozy Puzzle Game in a Cyberpunk Universe

The game D1AL-ogue is now available to download and play for free on Steam. While the publisher, Jungle Game Lab, hasn’t said if they’ll add any purchasable content later, the full game is currently available without any in-app purchases – a great perk for Steam players looking for free games.

Cozy puzzle game fans are really enjoying D1AL-ogue. As of today, it has a 95% positive rating based on over 700 user reviews. Players love its unique retro-cyberpunk style, engaging stories, and gameplay that requires careful choices, all built around easy-to-understand mechanics.

In D1AL-ogue, you play as a repairman running a clinic for robots in the futuristic city of Chroma City. Your job is to diagnose and fix the problems of these intelligent robots, known as E.V.E.s, by rebuilding their damaged parts. Each robot you meet presents a new story and reveals more about the game’s world through conversations.

The core gameplay of D1AL-ogue centers around a unique circular puzzle called the D1AL. Players solve puzzles by rotating sections of the circle to connect matching colored modules. However, it’s not just about matching colors – the device has a limited battery that can overheat, and you also need to strategically place synthesized units within each E.V.E.’s core to successfully complete the puzzles. Careful planning is key!

I’ve seen some chatter online about a few conversations in the game – sometimes the way customers talk to you feels a little… suggestive, and might not be something you’d want younger players hearing. But honestly, I haven’t come across anything actually explicit or graphic in the game itself.

D1AL-ogue Gameplay Features at a Glance

  • Story mode with several interesting characters
  • Color-matching puzzles
  • Retro pixel-art style
  • Relaxing soundtracks

Lately, Steam has been flooded with cheaply made games often called “AI slop,” many of which are free to play. Thankfully, D1AL-ogue is different. The game’s Steam page confirms that all its art and other materials are either completely original or properly licensed.

Before its release, the game D1AL-ogue received some criticism for using music created by AI. The developers then apologized and swapped out all the AI-generated tracks with professionally made music from existing sources.

Interestingly, D1AL-ogue wasn’t released alone! Its publisher, Jungle Game Lab, launched it with seven other free indie games on February 5th, and most of them have received positive feedback on Steam. Here’s the complete list of games: In My Bubble, Be Queen Bee, EXE.CUTOR, Spacetime Shooter, Trust Me I Nailed It, Cartapli: Fold Quest, and No Mana Just Dice.
