ANTONBLAST delayed by a month, to December

As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for fast-paced action platformers, I must say that I’ve been following ANTONBLAST with bated breath. The news of its delay until December 3rd was certainly not what I had hoped for, but considering the circumstances, it’s hard to fault Summitsphere for prioritizing their team and community over a release date.

Summitsphere Developer reveals that the high-speed action platformer, ANTONBLAST, has been pushed back from its original release date. This news might not be what fans were hoping for so near launch, but on a positive note, it’s still scheduled for this year, specifically on December 3rd.

Tony Grayson, Studio Head and Director on ANTONBLAST, said:

Summitsphere is a studio located throughout the southeastern United States, and unfortunately, hurricanes Helene and Milton have caused significant damage in this region. Efforts to aid those affected are currently ongoing; here are some links to help out if you wish.

To put it another way, we’re fortunate that everyone is safe… however, several members of our team have been impacted by the hurricanes, both directly and indirectly, which has affected their ability to work. Some have even been without power for extended periods.

The individual concerned has publicly declared that our team is committed to providing nothing but the top-tier version of ANTONBLAST. Consequently, we’ve taken the tough step to postpone the game’s release from November 12th to December 3rd.

Grayson went on to add:

Now, I can appreciate that having to wait that much longer kinda sucks…

To make amends, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with you! We’re planning to present One Blast Demo during Steam Next Fest, just around the corner next week. This demo will showcase an entirely overhauled Boiler City, along with a previously unplayable area known as Slowroast Sewer (and there might be a few other surprises in store for you as well!).

In the upcoming weeks, we’re planning to work on upgrading One Blast Demo for the Nintendo Switch, subject to platform approval.

We’re all excited here at Summitsphere to share ANTONBLAST with you shortly! Your continuous support means a lot to us. Thank you!

So you can check out the demo, then, at this link.

ANTONBLAST is coming to PC on December 3rd.
