Prior to these activities, there are a few requirements that need to be fulfilled first. Primarily, you’ll need to have progressed sufficiently through the game to unlock the battle options. This should happen around level 3, which is usually reached soon after completing the tutorial, provided you regularly participate in missions.

To continue, you should either possess a collection of cards sufficient to create at least one deck or secure a rental deck to engage in battles. You can craft custom decks from your Collection section, which also features an automatic builder for those needing assistance. Rental decks can be obtained through completing missions and participating in Step-Up Battles.

Whenever I’m all set for an exciting duel, I navigate straight to the Battle section, conveniently located at the bottom right corner of my screen. From here, I can pick between Solo play (Step-Up Battles) or Versus. I usually tap on the Versus button. Then, I get to decide whether to engage in a Random Match, where I’ll be matched with another online player, or a Private Match, perfect for when I want to challenge a friend.

Using the Private Match feature, you can create a space and choose a secret code that you and your buddy will input to instantly join each other for combat. You can agree on this code yourselves or have it generated automatically with a simple click.
