As a seasoned adventurer who’s traversed the fantastical realms of Metaphor: Refantazio, I can wholeheartedly say that the Homo Oppo is one creature you don’t want to tangle with lightly. With its eggshell-like exterior and a duck/reptile hybrid inside, it’s a peculiar sight to behold indeed! But if you’re looking for its Achilles’ heel, look no further than a good ol’ fashioned Strike attack.
In the narrative of “Metaphor: Refantazio,” your journey will lead you to the Regalith Grand Cathedral’s dungeon, where Hulkenberg and Strohl accompany you. A multitude of creatures, resembling humans in this case, will challenge your team. Among them, a particularly bothersome wild creature is the “Homo Oppo” – it seems to be an eggshell-like figure with boots, standing on two legs, and inside appears to be some sort of duck-reptile hybrid.
If you’re wondering about the vulnerabilities of Homo Oppo in the game ‘Metaphor: Refantazio’, we’ve got the solution for you below.
Metaphor: Refantazio – What is Homo Oppo Weak to?
Homo Oppo is Weak to Strike
In the game “Metaphor: Refantazio”, there are three primary melee attack types that monsters could be weak against: Pierce, Slash, and what we call “Strike”. Interestingly, Homo Oppo is particularly vulnerable to “Strike” attacks, and it’s only vulnerable to this type. This creature has no other weaknesses or resistances, so you can deal damage with any magic attack you choose, and it will be effective.
Even though Homo Oppo has a substantial amount of Health Points (HP), it might be advantageous for you to switch to a class such as the Healer Archetype, which can deal additional damage and grant extra turns for attacking.
In this specific scenario, we configured Strohl as the Healer character type, providing him with the Apprentice’s Mage tool that deals a Strike blow when used against creatures during combat.
As a gamer, I always position my tank friend upfront when engaging in combat with my Strike weapon, for an extra melee punch. On the other hand, it’s wise to keep the mages and healers in the backline, shielding them from direct attacks and ensuring they can cast spells effectively without taking unnecessary damage.
Homo Oppo’s Moves
- Regular Attack (hits one party member)
- Wind Breath (attacks whole team with Wind magic)
- Depraved Skewering (attacks one party member and lowers Atk/Def/Evasion/Hit
- Oblivion Dust (makes a party member unable to use special skills)
