As a big fan of ARC Raiders, I was really happy to see the new hotfix drop on February 11th! It finally fixed that annoying glitch where weapons had unlimited ammo, and also cleaned up some issues with exploits and broken quests. Honestly, Embark Studios took some heat recently for not fixing a major exploit quickly enough, but it seems like they’re really listening to us and pushing out fixes fast now. This patch came just hours after the last one, which is a great sign they’re working hard to make the game better!
Popular streamers like TheBurntPeanut highlighted a bug in ARC Raiders that gave players unlimited ammo. It was easy to trigger: players just needed to quickly switch between their main and side weapons and then drop the side weapon to reload it with a full 100 bullets, no matter the gun. This meant even the best player-versus-player weapons could become incredibly powerful, even during battles. Luckily, the game developers, Embark Studios, fixed this problem much quicker than they fixed a previous issue where items were being duplicated.
ARC Raiders Latest Patch Targets More Duplication Glitches
A recent update, released on February 11th and announced on Twitter and Discord, fixes a problem in ARC Raiders that allowed players to get unlimited ammo. It also addresses an earlier issue where players could duplicate items in their inventory. While the update includes some smaller fixes for quests with missing steps, the community is mostly excited about these two major fixes – and understandably so.
Players are happy to see Embark Studios quickly addressing the major problems in ARC Raiders. The studio released two fixes one after the other, which is faster than their normal update schedule. However, some players worry that new issues will keep appearing and might cause people to stop playing before everything is fixed.
Man, it’s frustrating playing ARC Raiders right now. Just hours after they fixed the duplication bug, a new infinite-ammo glitch popped up! It’s the same deal – you just have to do this simple thing with swapping and dropping your weapon, and boom, it happens. It makes me wonder how long it’ll be before the next exploit ruins the game again. Honestly, ARC Raiders has had a ton of problems already – things like wall hacks and glitches that let you fix your guns for free, totally messing up the PvP. A lot of us are begging the developers to get serious and start punishing people who abuse these glitches. It’s just not fun when the game is broken like this.
Embark Says These Hotfixes Are Part of an Ongoing Investigation

Embark had previously said that players who misused these exploits might be penalized, which caused disagreement among players. Some feel it’s unfair to punish players for problems the developers created, while others believe that not punishing exploiters would encourage others to do the same.
More Hotfixes Could Be on the Way
Players and popular streamers of ARC Raiders have recently expressed their disappointment with the increasing number of bugs in the game. It seems Embark Studios is listening and is now working to fix these issues faster than usual. This means we can likely expect quick updates throughout February before the game’s next big update. While some glitches still exist, the developers have confirmed they’re aware of them and are committed to fixing everything.
