Kaido is their greatest strength. As one of the most powerful characters in One Piece, his complete control over Haki means the Holy Knights wouldn’t be a significant threat. Similar to how Rocks defeated most of the team on his own, Kaido is more than capable of doing the same.

While it’s still just a theory, the story is increasingly portraying Joyboy and his crew as the most powerful group ever seen in the world of One Piece. The Egghead arc offered a taste of Joyboy’s incredible power – even his Haki from centuries ago was enough to defeat the Five Elders and impact Imu from a great distance.

Considering this pattern with other powerful groups in the story, it’s likely Joyboy’s crew were all around as strong as he was. When we finally see this legendary crew revealed, it will dramatically change how we understand power levels in the series.
