As a lifelong Marvel fan with over three decades of comic book reading under my belt, the announcement of Marvel Mystic Mayhem has me absolutely thrilled! The thought of joining forces with iconic Super Heroes like Scarlet Witch, Moon Knight, and Captain America to battle against Nightmare is nothing short of exhilarating.
Immediately following the unveiling of Destiny: Rising, NetEase Games has come forth once more with a new declaration, this time introducing another mobile game titled Marvel Mystic Mayhem.
According to the publisher, “Marvel Mystic Mayhem” is a strategically engaging role-playing game (RPG) that’s team-based, available on mobile devices, and free to play. It takes place within the Marvel Universe, as evidenced by the recently released trailer.
Ally with legendary Superheroes in the struggle against the villainous Nightmare, the ruler of the Dream Dimension who aims to conquer the waking world. Witness the innermost anxieties of Superheroes like Scarlet Witch, Moon Knight, and Captain America as Nightmare converts their dreams into treacherous labyrinths. Gathering power from the collective consciousness, Doctor Strange and Sleepwalker equip their comrades with dream energy to create a formidable three-member task force venturing deep into each terrifying nightmare to prevent the destruction of existence itself.

NetEase is well-known for creating numerous mobile games, and they are also the developers of the forthcoming Marvel game, Marvel Rivals. So far, we’re quite impressed with it, as Mick notes: “Marvel Rivals shares some striking resemblances to Overwatch, but these similarities mostly seem deliberate, more like a tribute than an imitation. The game mechanics and movement feel remarkably refined, even at this early stage. There’s still some fine-tuning needed in terms of balance, but it’s already shaping up to be a well-polished game. With several months left until its full release and an abundance of Marvel source material to draw from, the Marvel Rivals Closed Beta has me feeling very optimistic about this game. I believe NetEase is on track to produce a major success with it.
