During its recent PlayStation State of Play event, Sony showcased its PlayStation Plus subscription service, announcing upcoming games for all three tiers – Essential, Extra, and Premium. While Sony usually follows a predictable schedule for revealing new PlayStation Plus games, they deviated from this pattern with the February 2026 lineup for Extra and Premium members.
So, everyone was really hyped for Sony to announce the new PS Plus Extra and Premium games for February 2026 last Wednesday, February 11th. But the usual time for the announcement came and went, and we didn’t hear anything! A lot of us figured they’d save the reveal for the February 2026 State of Play, and that’s exactly what happened. They used the event to announce the new games hitting PS Plus on Tuesday, February 17th, and also teased a few other titles that are coming later on. It’s good to know what’s on the way, even if we have to be patient for some of them!
During Sony’s State of Play presentation, four games were showcased, but the full list of 13 titles arriving on February 17th was revealed shortly after. The highlight was the previously rumored Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PlayStation 5, which will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members at no extra cost. Additionally, Big Walk will be added to the Essential tier, giving all PS Plus subscribers access to the co-op puzzle game on its release day. Looking ahead, the classic PSP fighting game Tekken: Dark Resurrection will join the PS Plus Extra and Premium libraries in March 2026, and the on-rails shooter Time Crisis will follow in May 2026, supporting motion controls.

Following the show, Sony revealed the new games being added to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in February 2026. On February 17th, Extra tier members can look forward to Spider-Man 2, Echoes of the End: Enhanced Edition, Monster Hunter Stories, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, Neva, Rugby 25, Season: A Letter to the Future, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, and Venba. Premium tier subscribers will receive Disney Pixar Wall-E.
The PlayStation Plus games for February 2026 appear to be chosen with specific goals in mind. With a new Monster Hunter Stories game on the way, adding the older titles to PS Plus could encourage more people to purchase the latest release. Similarly, since a new Neva game was just announced, including the original game in the PS Plus Extra tier makes a lot of sense.
On February 17th, PlayStation Plus is adding new games, but some titles will also be removed. Make sure to check what’s leaving so you can play them before they go!
