As a seasoned Life is Strange enthusiast with countless hours spent navigating parallel universes, I must say that Double Exposure has truly outdone itself. The new ability to move between two timelines adds an intriguing layer of complexity to the gameplay, and it’s been a blast trying to figure out how to snatch all those elusive Polaroids in Chapter 2.

In “Life is Strange: Double Exposure,” Max gains a fresh ability to manipulate. Previously, she could travel back in time and alter something, then return to the present with the changes implemented. Now, she can shift between two distinct timelines, which will be crucial for those aiming to uncover all the Polaroids in Chapter 2.

In Chapter 2 of the game “Life is Strange: Double Exposure,” there are five Polaroid photos hidden for players to discover. Here’s a simplified guide for those who might be uncertain about how to locate them: This guide includes where to search and any necessary actions required.

Polaroid #1 – Present

In the beginning of this new phase, I’ll find myself seated with Safi and her mom. After taking control, make a beeline for the restrooms. It’s there that I’ll discover the means to transport myself into the realm known as Dead World – a fact clearly signaled at the top of my screen.

After exiting the bathroom, make your way to the table where Diamond and Reggie sat in Chapter 1. This table is positioned beside the wall mural featuring a turtle sporting a mustache. You should find the Polaroid picture on this very table.

This Polaroid will only be in Dead World, so make sure you are in the right timeline.

Polaroid #2 – The Great Snowball War

After gaining control over Max in the quad, proceed ahead. You’ll notice two bridges on your left as you advance. In the distance, beyond those bridges and slightly to the left of a sculpture, there is a protected space waiting for you.

As you approach the bench bearing the Polaroid, a message will appear, inviting interaction with numerous characters. The consequences of your decisions might prove surprising in their significance.

Polaroid #3 – Gwen’s Tires…

In the upcoming sequence, Max will discuss an encounter with a security guard who won’t allow her passage. Following this dialogue, navigate along the path while switching between timelines, eventually reaching an area featuring a railing.

As I walk in, take note of the cozy collection of benches around. The very first one you’ll spot upon entering from the corner, there’s a Polaroid picture resting on it.

Polaroid #4 – Bitter And Sweet

Moses will share with Max some information about Safi’s camera, which is currently located in his office, specifically room 112A. You can access this office by going through the Living World; there, you’ll likely find Moses busy at work.

Move into the realm known as the Dead World, and once you’ve passed through the doorway behind you, glance to your left. There, you’ll find three blue computer screens. To the left of these screens, you will discover a Polaroid photograph.

Polaroid #5 – Horror Movie Night

After the scene where a cat meows from behind a door, you’ll find the last picture for this chapter lying beyond it. When you resume control over Max, she’ll be fixated on precisely that door.

Please don’t go through this door now. The Polaroid you seek is actually placed on a table to its left. After grabbing it, feel free to proceed through the door and face your next challenging decision: selecting your new kitty companion’s appearance.
