Should You Kill Lizzie in High on Life 2?

Early in High on Life 2, you’ll find your sister, Lizzie, cornered by bounty hunters. Surprisingly, they ask you to eliminate her, arguing that as the notorious G3 and the most famous bounty hunter around, you deserve the 15 million credit reward on her head. Once they recognize you’ve arrived, they step aside and leave the decision to you.

Okay, so I’m facing a seriously tough decision in this game. I’ve been a Bounty Hunter for most of the original High on Life, and now I have to choose between following the Hunter’s code and killing Lizzie, or betraying everything I’ve known and helping her. It’s messed up because people actually look up to me as a Hunter way more than I even care about my sister! The whole point of this new mission is to rescue Lizzie and take down the Bounty Hunters, but I’m really curious what would happen if I just… went against everything and killed Lizzie like the Hunters want. Would the story actually change? Or is there some other consequence I haven’t thought of yet?

What Happens If You Kill Lizzie in High on Life 2?

In High on Life 2, if you choose to eliminate Lizzie during the rescue mission, you’ll earn the achievement called “The Good Ending,” and the game’s credits will begin to play, listing the developers and everyone involved in making the game.

Once the credits are over (or if you skip them), the game automatically returns you to the point where Lizzie is surrounded by bounty hunters – effectively restarting that section. The choice to harm Lizzie isn’t meaningful; it’s just a joke with no real impact on the game. Lizzie is invincible. Unlike most characters in High on Life 2, she’s a key character who guides you throughout the rest of the game and provides essential quests.

To continue the story, you must defeat the Bounty Hunters. Doing so earns you the “Broke the Code” achievement and officially makes your character an outlaw.

High on Life 2, like the original High on Life, automatically saves your progress and doesn’t let you manually save or reload. If you choose not to defeat Lizzie during the game, the only way to unlock the “The Good Ending” achievement is to begin a completely new game.
