Several influential groups play a vital role in the ongoing events of One Piece, including the secretive Five Elders, the Navy’s leadership, the Straw Hat Grand Fleet officers, and the Revolutionary Army. Although the Revolutionary Army opposes the Navy and the strict World Government, they are far from a chaotic group of rebels. As a huge One Piece fan, I’ve been really fascinated by the Revolutionary Army! Even though we’ve only seen glimpses of them throughout the story so far, it’s become pretty clear how their whole organization is structured, with a definite chain of command. And honestly, I think knowing the names and ranks of these members is going to be huge as we head further into the Final Saga. It feels like everything’s building towards a massive showdown where the entire Army will be fighting alongside each other – it’s going to be epic!

Like all large military organizations, the Revolutionary Army relies on a leadership structure below its supreme commander. The Straw Hat Grand Fleet has captains, the Navy has Admirals, and the Revolutionary Army has five Army Commanders and their Deputies. These ten leaders work in pairs, each responsible for one of the Army’s five main fighting forces. Commanders like Emporio Ivankov and Belo Betty hold significant power, overseeing entire armies deployed globally. Their Deputies, such as Inazuma and Jiron, provide essential support, similar to the role of Vice-Admirals in the Navy.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the power structures in One Piece, and it’s fascinating! You’ve got groups like the Warlords who can operate with just a handful of strong people, but most major organizations need a massive base. Think about the Marines – they’re built on tons of regular soldiers. Or look at the Emperors – each one needs a huge crew! The Revolutionary Army is the same way. Dragon, Sabo, and Morley are incredibly powerful, but they can’t overthrow Imu on their own. That’s where people like Koala, Hack, and Bunny Joe come in. They might not be the flashy heroes, but they form the backbone of the Army, keeping the Marines occupied while the leaders take on the really tough fights. It’s a supporting role, sure, but if you believe in Dragon’s cause, like Koala does, it’s a job you’d be proud to do.
