LEGO Bringing Back Popular Star Wars Set, But Smaller and More Expensive

LEGO has revealed a new Razor Crest set, scheduled for release in spring 2026. This will be the fifth time LEGO has built a model of the famous ship from The Mandalorian, piloted by Din Djarin.

LEGO recently created a detailed model of the iconic spacecraft, the 75331 The Razor Crest. This was one of their biggest sets ever, containing 6,187 pieces and costing $599.99. First released in 2022, LEGO stopped selling this large Razor Crest model in late 2025.

Another Razor Crest LEGO Set Releasing in April 2026

LEGO recently announced a new version of Din Djarin’s ship, the Razor Crest! This model, numbered 75447, is smaller than previous versions, with 930 pieces, and is recommended for builders age 10 and up. It includes five minifigures: The Mandalorian, Grogu, Zeb Orrelios, Colonel Ward, and an Imperial Stormtrooper. The set costs $149.99 and is available for pre-order now on Amazon and the LEGO website. It’s expected to ship around April 26th, just before the premiere of the new Star Wars movie, The Mandalorian and Grogu, on May 26th.

LEGO Already Had a Similar Razor Crest Set, But It Was Bigger and Cheaper Than 75292

LEGO recently stopped selling set 75331, their most recent version of the Razor Crest spaceship. However, an older set, 75292 The Razor Crest (released in September 2020, before Season 2 of The Mandalorian), is actually much closer to the new release. Both sets are designed for builders age 10 and up and have a similar number of pieces. While they look alike at first, the new model has a mostly gray color scheme compared to the gray and yellow of the original, and it includes a different set of four minifigures. The 2020 version originally cost $119.99 and had more bricks (1,023 total), making it about 16% longer, 14% wider, and 7% taller than the new one. Some LEGO fans have noticed these changes and are calling it ‘shrinkflation’ – getting a smaller product for the same price. LEGO discontinued set 75292 in November 2023, but you can still find it used for around $150, depending on where you look.

In February 2026, LEGO announced several new Star Wars sets, including the highly anticipated Razor Crest. Other additions to the lineup are the New Republic X-Wing Starfighter (set 75460, 556 pieces, $69.99), the AT-RT Attack (set 75444, 297 pieces, $44.99), the Anzellan Starship (set 75445, 701 pieces, $74.99), and a BrickHeadz set featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu (set 40856, 661 pieces, $39.99). The X-Wing will be available starting April 1st, while the other four sets, including the Razor Crest, will be released on April 26th. All five sets are available for pre-order, with a limit of three sets per customer to prevent resellers from buying up all the stock.

It’s become common for details about new LEGO sets to appear online before they’re officially announced, and another leak has surfaced recently. This one reveals a new Star Wars set, numbered 75446 and called “Grogu Mandalorian Apprentice.” It’s expected to have around 1,200 pieces and will include a buildable Grogu figure, as well as a standard Grogu minifigure – much like the upcoming Sauron’s Helmet set, which includes a Sauron minifigure.
