If you enjoy bird watching in Heartopia, you’ll have plenty to do! The island is home to many different bird species, and completing the full collection takes time. One bird you’ll want to find is the Double-Barred Finch. It’s small and its coloring blends in easily, so it can be hard to spot, especially in the more crowded parts of Heartopia.
Where to Find Double-Barred Finch in Heartopia
The Double-Barred Finch can be found at the Fishing Village Lighthouse in Heartopia. But you’ll need to reach Level 3 in the Bird Watching Hobby before it appears. If your hobby level is lower than 3, the bird won’t show up, even if you keep checking the lighthouse.
Once you reach the required level, you can find the Double-Barred Finch at any time of day, in Sunny, Rainy, or Rainbow weather. You don’t have to wait for special conditions to start looking for it.
Take your time and carefully search around the lighthouse, checking railings, rocks, and the ground. This bird is well-camouflaged and can be hard to spot.
If you haven’t reached Level 3, concentrate on taking pictures of the usual birds you find in the starting zones. Be sure to wait for them to strike a good pose before you take the photo, and then submit the pictures as Info Cards to Bailey J. to earn rewards.
How to Photograph the Double-Barred Finch
Like many birds in Heartopia, the Double-Barred Finch is easily startled and will fly off if you approach too quickly. Don’t rush toward it! Instead, get your scanner ready before you go near the lighthouse and walk towards the bird slowly and calmly.
Keep in mind that what birds do in your photo – whether they’re standing still or chirping – impacts its star rating. If you can wait for a bird to chirp before taking the picture, you’re more likely to get a better Info Card. Using skills like Perfect Photo and Observation will also help you capture higher-rated images.
