As Jujutsu Kaisen gains popularity, some fans have become overly critical. Characters are quickly turned into memes based on mistakes, losses, or difficult moments, and often labeled with harsh terms like “fraud,” “bum,” or “useless.” While it can seem funny, the constant mockery can be excessive. He intentionally didn’t share this power with those in positions of authority, instead wanting to empower the next generation. This showed that even someone seemingly insignificant can possess a conscience, proving he was far more than just a ruthless leader.

7. Hana Kurusu (Angel)

Hana receives a lot of criticism for being easily manipulated by Sukuna, similar to Megumi, and ultimately losing her arm. Many viewers call her foolish or ineffective, arguing she shouldn’t have let her guard down during such a dangerous moment.

Ultimately, Hana is simply a young woman in love, and Sukuna is skilled at exploiting people’s vulnerabilities. She wasn’t seeing a monster, but the boy who had saved her life years ago, making her reaction deeply and sadly human.

6. Naoya Zenin

Naoya is a frustrating character – many viewers dislike him, yet find themselves strangely drawn to him. This is largely due to his deeply flawed personality; he’s both arrogant and disrespectful towards women, particularly Maki. While his behavior is objectively awful, it’s important to remember he grew up in the toxic environment of the Zenin clan, which valued cruelty and prioritized its elite members. The way the clan treated both Toji and Maki proves the system was fundamentally broken, and Naoya was simply the most outspoken product of it.

Naoya is a remarkably effective fighter, thanks to his incredible speed granted by Projection Sorcery. He’s also a brilliant strategist. While fans recall his defeats, he likely would have won all his fights if he hadn’t let his pride get in the way and had he utilized more powerful cursed weapons. Ultimately, Naoya is a sad case of how privilege and a strong background can lead even the most talented individuals down a path of self-sabotage.
