Starsand Island: Treasure Chest Map

Starsand Island is packed with items to collect, like treasure chests. You’ll find some chests in the same spot every time, while others show up randomly or are locked behind puzzles.

This guide will help you locate every treasure chest on the main map of Starsand Island. It also explains how to find secret chests by using treasure maps and completing parkour challenges.

This guide doesn’t cover chests that appear randomly, as their exact locations are currently impossible to predict.

How to Produce and Farm Treasure Chests

Players can build a “World Tree” on their farm, which will regularly produce treasure chests. You’ll need to reach Worktable Level Three and find a blueprint by exploring the island to craft it. Having multiple World Trees is the best way to consistently get treasure chests in Starsand Island.

How to Get and Use Treasure Maps

I love finding treasure maps! They pop up in all sorts of places, usually hidden inside other chests. Once you find one, you just equip it – it works like a tool or weapon. Then, the game shows a yellow arrow, and you simply follow it. It’ll lead you right to the spot where you can dig up a brand new treasure chest!

I found a really neat trick! I was able to get two treasure chests from the exact same spot by using two treasure maps one right after the other. I’m not sure if the game is supposed to work this way, or if it’s a little glitch, but it’s a huge time saver. Basically, you follow the arrow on the first map to find a chest, and immediately use the second map – another chest will be right there!

How to Find and Use Flawed Chests

In Starsand Island, Flawed Chests are special treasures that often hold useful items like Coins. You can find them inside regular treasure chests or by fishing. To open a Flawed Chest, simply go to your Bag, tap ‘Options’, and then select ‘Use’.

You can sell Flawed Chests to any vendor, but it’s usually better not to. The items you find inside are often worth more than the money you’d get for selling the chest itself.

How to Complete Parkour Treasure Puzzles

Starsand Island features fun parkour challenges where you can find secret treasure chests. In the town, these challenges are highlighted by a glowing light around the obstacles. To find the hidden chests, players need to follow the light and jump across the obstacles without falling.

In Moonlit Forest, you can find hidden chests by saving lost spirits called Gravestars. Use your pickaxe to break the glowing red rocks, called Gravecrystals, which are trapping them. Once freed, the Gravestars will guide you to the treasure. Usually, you’ll need to rescue three Gravestars to unlock each chest.

Some Gravecrystals in Moonlit Forest also unlock new routes called Astral Paths.
