How to Get Highland Poppy Seeds in Heartopia

Highland Poppy Seeds were released in Week 2 of the Winter Frost Event, but there are a few things you need to do before you can buy them.

Okay, so you need to get pretty good at gardening before you can even buy flowers! Once I reached Gardening Level 3, that’s when flowers finally showed up at Blanc’s shop. And that’s also when I could buy Highland Poppy Seeds – they popped up on the menu right away!

You can get Highland Poppy seeds by talking to Blanc. He’s located on Onsen Mountain and becomes available sometime during or after the second week of the event. He’ll give you a quick quest that explains how to buy and plant your first Highland Poppy. Once you finish the quest, you’ll be able to buy the seeds whenever the Winter Frost Event is happening.

At Blanc’s Gardening Store, we offer three kinds of Highland Poppy Seeds. You’re welcome to purchase all three types, or just the one you prefer – it’s up to you if you’d like to try crossbreeding them!

How to Crossbreed Highland Poppy in Heartopia

Growing hybrid Highland Poppies is similar to breeding other flowers, but there are a couple of key things to remember. It takes a full day for them to grow, and to create a hybrid, you need to plant a new Poppy next to at least two fully grown Highland Poppies of different colors. All the Poppies involved must be Highland Poppies – just with varying colors.

We suggest using a 2×2 grid layout. This arrangement helps keep the possibilities fair, puts important elements next to each other, and prevents your design from feeling cluttered.

You can boost your chances of successfully breeding by using Rainbow Breeding Powder. Also, using Rainbow Bouquets while watering will activate the effects of any breeding powder you’ve applied.

Check your flowers regularly and keep them watered as they develop. With a little care and the right conditions, Highland Poppies can start to display new and unique colors. These special flowers will also help increase your flower power!
