All Heian Enemy Base Locations in Nioh 3

In Nioh 3, Enemy Bases are areas packed with enemies, and most of them aren’t too difficult to defeat. However, some bases contain powerful Yokai, which can cover the area in Dark Realms. You’ll need to clear the entire base to remove these realms.

In Nioh 3, each of the six enemy bases from the Heian era often features a particularly strong final boss that appears after you’ve defeated all the other enemies. You can find a list of all base locations in the guide below.

Many enemy bases in Heian are connected to local myths. Players will need to learn about and finish these myths to unlock access to the bases and find extra items.

Starting from the Horiike Pond at Arashiyama Shrine – which is roughly in the center of the area – go south to locate the enemy base.

Nishiichi

  • Recommended Level: 66

Head to the east side of the area and look for the Driftwood Fortress Shrine. It’s currently locked because of a nearby enemy base, but you can clear out the base to unlock it.

Awawa no Tsuji

  • Recommended Level: 66

While exploring the region, go south from the Awawa no Tsuji Shrine to find the base.

Hachijo

  • Recommended Level: 73

Once you reach Hachijo Island, head east until you find the Anneibo Temple Shrine, which is currently being used as an enemy base. You’ll need to defeat the enemies there before you can interact with the Shrine itself.
