Pokemon TCG Pocket Wonder Pick Event for February 2026 Adds New Promo Cards

The popular mobile game, Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, recently added two new cards through a new event. This update follows other new cards released on February 12th as part of the game’s Drop Event.

Launched in October 2024, Pokemon TCG Pocket has quickly become incredibly popular, attracting millions of players to collect virtual creature cards. As of today, over 2,000 cards are available in the app, and new card packs and special offers are added every month. Players can now trade cards with each other and even share some with friends, making it easier for fans to complete their collections.

Pokemon TCG Pocket’s February 2026 Wonder Pick Event Adds Two New Cards

The mobile game Pokemon TCG Pocket is adding new cards featuring Cinderace and Alolan Vulpix as part of its February 2026 Wonder Pick event. Players can get these cards through special Chansey Picks – which don’t cost the usual in-game currency – or by using the standard Wonder Pick system that does. This event is just one of many planned for Pokemon TCG Pocket, with the game’s roadmap outlining future Wonder Picks, battle events, and new booster packs.

The new Cinderace card shows the Pokémon balancing on a ball of fire. It has just one attack, called Fireball Shot, which costs two Fire energies to use. This attack deals 120 damage to the opponent’s active Pokémon and also prevents them from attacking on their next turn. A key feature of this card is that it has no retreat cost, meaning you can switch it out freely. These stats – the attack and retreat cost – are the same as the Cinderace card found in the recent Pokemon TCG Pocket’s Fantastical Parade expansion. However, this version boasts new artwork and includes a special Chansey sticker to show it’s a unique, collectible card.

Similar to Cinderace, the Alolan Vulpix available through Wonder Pick has the same attack power as regular versions. Its ‘Gnaw’ attack costs one Water energy and deals 20 damage to the opponent’s active Pokémon. Both this Alolan Vulpix and the Fantastical Parade version cost one energy to retreat. However, this version features a unique illustration of the Pokémon standing on a colorful, broken glacier, facing the player. Players who want these special cards need to get them before the Wonder Pick event ends on February 25th.

DeNA, the company behind Pokemon TCG Pocket, admits keeping players engaged has been a challenge, but they’ve consistently added new content. In addition to regular card packs and events, the game recently started a new season of ranked battles, letting players compete and improve their rankings. Given the huge global popularity of Pokemon, many players still check in daily hoping to collect the cards they love.
