Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero May Hit a Wall With DBS: Super Hero

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero May Hit a Wall With DBS: Super Hero

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of Dragon Ball gaming under my belt, I must say that I’m both excited and apprehensive about the DLC prospects for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. On one hand, the confirmed characters from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero seem like a great addition to the roster, especially Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. However, it appears we might be running out of options rather quickly, which could potentially lead to a repetitive DLC cycle.

The highly praised game “Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero” has ignited considerable discussion about its potential downloadable content (DLC). Fortunately, the game’s Season Pass has given us an idea of what to expect from the initial wave of DLC. Interestingly, “Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero” has chosen two series to lead this initiative, but one of them could potentially pose a challenge.

The Season Pass for “Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero” will showcase approximately twenty characters, with origins in both “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” and “Dragon Ball Daima.” These popular additions to the series have earned their place due to their success. Yet, they also have a narrow focus that could potentially be a significant challenge for “Super Hero.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Has Limited Options For Super Hero DLC Characters

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Has Already Confirmed Two Super Hero Characters

As a dedicated gamer diving into the world of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, I’ve found myself in the dark about most DLC characters, except for two standouts. While the game hinted at Daima as potential DLC, it was only recently that we got more details. On the other hand, Sparking Zero made a double announcement with its Season Pass – revealing not one, but two new characters simultaneously. The stars of this duo are Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, the androids who made their debut in Super Hero. Following the classic formula of Dragon Ball’s enemies turning allies, these two are sure to bring a thrilling twist to the gameplay.

In the popular game Super Hero, it makes perfect sense that the Gamma Androids would be ideal additions to the DLC for Sparking Zero. However, this choice also highlights a problem: Super Hero doesn’t have a wide variety of characters for Sparking Zero to choose from. In essence, the game lacks the depth in character roster that one might hope for.

Dragon Ball: Super Hero Has Some Obvious Favorites for Sparking Zero DLC

In a movie like Super Hero, given its confined storyline, it’s quite possible to guess who else might be among the superheroes. Gohan and Piccolo are the lead characters in this series, making Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo some of the most sought-after characters for downloadable content (DLC) in Sparking Zero. Since Cell Max is the main antagonist in the film, it’s logical to expect him to join the action as well.

In the lineup of Sparking Zero, these characters certainly seem fitting. However, after them, the appeal of potential additions from Super Hero seems to diminish significantly. What’s more, the most apparent choices for DLC in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero raise a significant issue that might affect their acceptance as new fighters. All three characters – Beast Gohan, Orange Piccolo, and Cell Max – share a common trait that could potentially cause problems with their reception as downloadable content for Sparking Zero.

Dragon Ball: Super Hero Would Boost Sparking Zero’s Many Alternate Forms and Transformations

In the game Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, there are already over 180 characters in the roster. The Season Pass offering 20 additional characters is quite significant. However, it’s still uncertain whether these new characters will exclusively belong to the series mentioned or if there will be a different distribution. Nevertheless, even though Super Hero contributes to this number, its influence would be relatively smaller than one might anticipate.

Compared to earlier versions of Budokai Tenkaichi, Sparking Zero significantly increases its character count due to numerous alterations and transformations. However, when taking these multiple forms into account, the roster of Sparking Zero is indeed extensive, but smaller than what’s suggested in promotional materials. These alternate characters generally have a wider variety of moves compared to previous installments, but they aren’t entirely new characters.

As a gamer, I’ve got to say this: Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is pretty much set to keep the ball rolling. Beast Gohan, Orange Piccolo, and Cell Max are essentially new takes on familiar faces. Just like Orange Piccolo and Cell Max, they can both swell up in size, adding even more variations to the game roster. Now, Cell Max might not be the most exciting villain at first glance, but he’s definitely unique, while Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo are just transformations of characters we already know.

Absolutely, variations on characters are not problematic at all. In fact, they’re quite significant to the series’ past, even when they deviate from what some might anticipate in Downloadable Content (DLC). For instance, Beast Gohan possesses sufficient power for a creative redesign, however, the growing scarcity of options implies that future DLC for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero should consider alternative sources.
